BIBBIA MARTINI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Alleluia: Del ritorno di Aggeo, e di Zaccaria. Beato l'uomo, che teme il Signore: egli avrà cari oltre modo i suoi comandamenti.	1 Al eluia! I give thanks to Yahweh with al my heart, in the meeting-place of honest people, in theassembly.
2 La sua posterità sarà potente sopra la terra: il secolo dei giusti sarà benedetto.	2 Great are the deeds of Yahweh, to be pondered by al who delight in them.
3 Gloria, e ricchezze nella casa di lui: e la sua giustizia dura perpetuamente.	3 Ful of splendour and majesty his work, his saving justice stands firm for ever.
4 È nata tralle tenebre la luce per gli uomini di retto cuore: il misericordioso, il benigno, il giusto.	4 He gives us a memorial of his great deeds; Yahweh is mercy and tenderness.
5 Fortunato l'uomo che è compassionevole, e da in prestito: e con saggezza dispensa le sue parole: perocché egli non sarà mai vacillante.	5 He gives food to those who fear him, he keeps his covenant ever in mind.
6 Il giusto sarà in memoria eternamente: non temerà di udire sinistre parole.	6 His works show his people his power in giving them the birthright of the nations.
7 Il suo cuore è disposto a sperar nel Signore: il suo cuore è costante: ei non vacillerà, e neppur farà caso de' suoi nemici.	7 The works of his hands are fidelity and justice, al his precepts are trustworthy,
8 A mani piene ha dato ai poveri: la giustizia di lui dura in perpetuo: la sua robusta virtù sarà esaltata nella gloria.	8 established for ever and ever, accomplished in fidelity and honesty.
9 Vedrallo il peccatore, e avranne sdegno, digrignerà i denti, e si consumerà: il desiderio de' peccatori andrà in fumo.	9 Deliverance he sends to his people, his covenant he imposes for ever; holy and awesome his name.
	10 The root of wisdom is fear of Yahweh; those who attain it are wise. His praise wil continue for ever.
