1 Salmo di Asaph: cantico sopra gli Assiri. Dio è conosciuto nella Giudea: in Israello è grande il suo nome.	1 [For the choirmaster Tune: 'Do not destroy' Psalm Of Asaph Song] We give thanks to you, God, wegive thanks to you, as we cal upon your name, as we recount your wonders.
2 E sua sede è nella pace, ed ha sua abitazione in Sionne.	2 'At the appointed time I myself shal dispense justice.
3 Ivi egli ha distrutta la forza de gli archi, lo scudo, la spada, e la guerra.	3 The earth quakes and al its inhabitants; it is I who hold its pil ars firm.Pause
4 O tu, che spandi mirabilmente tua luce dalle alte montagne: son rimasti conquisi tutti gli stolti di cuore.	4 'I said to the boastful, "Do not boast!" to the wicked, "Do not flaunt your strength!
5 Dormirono il loro sonno, e nulla trovarono nelle loro mani tutti questi uomini tesoreggianti.	5 Do not flaunt your strength so proudly, do not talk with that arrogant stance." '
6 Al tuono delle tue minacce, o Dio di Giacobbe, si addormentarono i cavalieri.	6 No longer from east to west, no longer in the mountainous desert,
7 Terribile se' tu, e chi a te farà resistenza? l'ira tua è antica.	7 is God judging in uprightness, bringing some down, raising others.
8 Dal cielo facesti sentire il tuo giudizio: tremò la terra, e si tacque;	8 Yahweh is holding a cup fil ed with a heady blend of wine; he wil pour it, they wil drink it to the dregs, al the wicked on earth wil drink it.
9 Allorché Dio si levò su per far giudizio, per tutti salvare i mansueti della terra.	9 But I shal speak out for ever, shal make music for the God of Jacob.
10 L'uomo, che rifletterà, darà a te laude; e la fine de' suoi pensieri sarà di onorarti con giorni festivi.	10 I shal break down al the strength of the wicked, and the strength of the upright will rise high.
11 Offerite voti al Signore Dio vostro, e scioglieteli, o voi tutti, che stando intorno a lui gli presentate dei doni,
12 A lui terribile, a lui, che toglie lo spirito ai grandi, a lui, che è terribile ai re della terra.
