1 Salmo di David. Esaudisci, o Dio, l'orazione mia, mentre ti invoco: dal timore dell'inimico custodisci l'anima mia.	1 [Psalm Of David When he was in the desert of Judah] God, you are my God, I pine for you; my heartthirsts for you, my body longs for you, as a land parched, dreary and waterless.
2 Tu m'hai difeso dalla cospirazione de' maligni: dalla turba di gente data a mal fare.	2 Thus I have gazed on you in the sanctuary, seeing your power and your glory.
3 Perocché affilarono come spade le loro lingue, tesero il loro arco (amara cosa) per saettare al buio l'innocente.	3 Better your faithful love than life itself; my lips wil praise you.
4 Lo saetteranno all'improvviso, e non temeranno: si sono ostinati nello scellerato disegno.	4 Thus I will bless you al my life, in your name lift up my hands.
5 Preser consiglio di nascondere i loro lacci, e dissero: Chi gli scoprirà?	5 Al my longings fulfil ed as with fat and rich foods, a song of joy on my lips and praise in my mouth.
