1 Te io loderò, o Signore, con tutto il mio cuore; racconterò tutte lo tue meraviglie.	1 Unto the end. For the secrets of the Son. A Psalm of David.
2 In te mi rallegrerò, e tripudierò, canterò inni al tuo nome, o Altissimo.	2 I will confess to you, Lord, with my whole heart. I will recount all your wonders.
3 Perché tu hai messo in fuga il mio nemico: ei diverranno impotenti, e dal tuo cospetto saran dissipati.	3 I will rejoice and exult in you. I will sing a psalm to your name, O Most High.
4 Perocché tu hai presa in mano la mia causa, e la mia difesa: ti se' assiso sul trono tu, che giudichi con giustizia.	4 For my enemy will be turned back. They will be weakened and perish before your face.
5 Tu hai sgridate le nazioni, e l'empio è ito in rovina: hai cancellato il nome loro in eterno, e per tutti i secoli.	5 For you have accomplished my judgment and my cause. You have sat upon the throne that judges justice.
6 Sono senza forza per sempre le spade dell'inimico: tu hai distrutte le loro cittadi.	6 You have rebuked the Gentiles, and the impious one has perished. You have deleted their name in eternity and for all generations.
7 Svanì col suono la loro memoria: ma il Signore sussiste in eterno.	7 The spears of the enemy have failed in the end, and their cities, you have destroyed. Their memory has perished with a loud noise.
8 Egli ha preparato il suo trono per far giudizio: ed egli stesso giudicherà il mondo con equità, giudicherà i popoli con giustizia.	8 But the Lord remains in eternity. He has prepared his throne in judgment.
9 E il Signore è stato rifugio al povero, aiutatore al tempo opportuno, nella tribolazione.	9 And he will judge the whole world in equity. He will judge the people in justice.
10 E sperino in te quei, che conoscono il nome tuo, perché tu, o Signore, non hai abbandonato color, che ti cercano.	10 And the Lord has become a refuge for the poor, a helper in opportunity, in tribulation.
11 Cantate inni al Signore, che abita in Sion, annunziate i consigli di lui tralle nazioni:	11 And may they hope in you, who know your name. For you have not abandoned those seeking you, Lord.
12 Imperocché colui, che fa vendetta del sangue, si è ricordato di essi: non hai posto in dimenticanza le grida del povero.	12 Sing a psalm to the Lord, who dwells in Zion. Announce his study among the Gentiles.
13 Abbi misericordia di me, o Signore, mira la umiliazione mia per opera de' miei nemici.	13 Because of those who yearned for their blood, he has remembered them. He has not forgotten the cry of the poor.
14 Tu, che mi rialzi dalle porte di morte, affinchè annunzi io tutte le lodi tue alle porte della figliuola di Sion.	14 Have mercy on me, Lord. See my humiliation from my enemies.
15 Esalterò per la salute, che viene da te: si son sommerse le genti nella fossa, che aveano fatta, In quel laccio stesso, che tenevan nascoso, è stato preso il loro piede.	15 You lift me up from the gates of death, so that I may announce all your praises at the gates of the daughter of Zion.
16 Sarà conosciuto il Signore, che fa giustizia: nelle opere delle mani sue è stato preso il peccatore.	16 I will exult in your salvation. The Gentiles have become trapped in the ruin that they made. Their foot has been caught in the same snare that they themselves had hidden.
17 Sian gettati nell'inferno i peccatori; le genti tutte, che di Dio si di menticano.	17 The Lord will be recognized when making judgments. The sinner has been caught in the works of his own hands.
18 Imperocché non per sempre sarà dimenticato il povero; la pazienza del povero non sarà vana per sempre.	18 The sinners will be turned into Hell: all the Gentiles who have forgotten God.
19 Levati su, o Signore, non cresca l'uomo in possanza; sian giudicate le genti dinanzi a te.	19 For the poor will not be forgotten in the end. The patience of the poor will not perish in the end.
20 Poni sopra di loro, o Signore, un legislatore, affinchè conoscan le genti, ch'elle son uomini.	20 Rise up, Lord: do not let man be strengthened. Let the Gentiles be judged in your sight.
21 E perché, o Signore, ti se' ritirato in lontananza, ci hai negletti nel maggior uopo, nella tribolazione.	21 O Lord, establish a lawgiver over them, so that the Gentiles may know that they are only men.
22 Mentre l'empio insolentisce, il povero è nella fornace; sono presi nei consigli, che hanno ideati.	22 So then, why, O Lord, have you withdrawn far away? Why have you overlooked us in opportunity, in tribulation?
23 Imperocché e lode riscuote il peccatore nei desideri dell'anima sua, e l'iniquo benedizione.	23 While the impious is arrogant, the poor is enflamed. They are held by the counsels that they devise.
24 Il peccatore ha esacerbato il Signore, secondo la molta sua arroganza egli nol cercherà.	24 For the sinner is praised by the desires of his soul, and the iniquitous is blessed.
25 Dinanzi a lui Dio non è: le di lui vie sono sempre contaminate. I tuoi giudizj son lungi dalla vista: e i trionferà di tutti i suoi avversarj.	25 The sinner has provoked the Lord; according to the multitude of his wrath, he will not seek him.
26 Imperocché egli ha detto in cuor suo: Io non sarò scosso, d'una in altra età (sarò) senza infortunio.	26 God is not before his sight. His ways are stained at all times. Your judgments are removed from his face. He will be master of all his enemies.
27 La bocca di lui è piena di maledizione, e di amarezza, e di fraude; sotto la lingua di lui affanno, e dolore.	27 For he has said in his heart, “I will not be disturbed: from generation to generation without evil.”
28 Sta in aguato co' facoltosi, all'oscuro per uccidere l'innocente.	28 His mouth is full of curses, and bitterness, and deceit. Under his tongue are hardship and sorrow.
29 Ei tiene gli occhi rivolti contro del povero: sta in aguato, come un lione nella sua tana. Sta in aguato per porre le unghie sopra del povero: per porre le unghie sopra del povero, attraendolo a se.	29 He sits in ambush, with resources in hidden places, so that he may execute the innocent.
30 Ne' suoi lacci lo abbatterà; si inchinerà egli, e si getterà a terra, quando si farà padrone de' poveri.	30 His eyes catch sight of the poor. He lies in ambush, in hiding like a lion in his den. He lies in ambush, so that he may seize the poor, to seize the poor as he draws him in.
31 Imperocché egli ha detto in cuor suo: Dio non tiene ricordanza, ha rivolto altrove la faccia per non vedere giammai.	31 With his snare, he will bring him down. He will crouch down and pounce, when he has power over the poor.
32 Levati su, Signore Dio, si alzi la mano tua: non ti scordare de' poveri:	32 For he has said in his heart, “God has forgotten, he has turned away his face, lest he see to the end.”
33 Per qual motivo ha l'empio irritato Dio? perché ha detto in cuor suo: Ei non faranno ricerca.	33 O Lord God, rise up. Let your hand be exalted. Do not forget the poor.
34 Tu vedi; tu l'affanno, e il dolore consideri: per abbandonar coloro nello tue mani. Alla tua cura è rimesso il povero: aiuto dell'orfano sarai tu.	34 How has the impious one provoked God? For he has said in his heart, “He will not inquire.”
35 Spezza il braccio del peccatore, e del maligno: si farà ricerca del peccato di lui, e non troverassi.	35 You do see, for you examine hardship and sorrow, so that you may deliver them into your hands. The poor one has been abandoned to you. You will be a helper to the orphan.
36 Il Signore regnerà in eterno, e per tutti i secoli: nazioni, voi sarete sterminate dalla terra di lui.	36 Break the arm of the sinner and the malicious. His sin will be sought, and it will not be found.
37 Il Signore ha esaudito il desiderio' de' poveri: il tuo orecchio ha ascoltata la preparazione del loro cuore.	37 The Lord shall reign in eternity, even forever and ever. You will perish the Gentiles from his land.
38 Per far giustizia al pupillo, e all'oppresso, affinché non seguiti più a farla da grande l'uomo sopra la terra.	38 The Lord has heeded the desire of the poor. Your ear has listened to the preparation of their heart,
	39 so as to judge for the orphan and the humble, so that man may no longer presume to magnify himself upon the earth.
