1 Salmo di David in memoria della liberazione ottenuta dal Signore. Muoviti, o Dio, in mio soccorso: Signore, affrettati a darmi aita,	1 Unto the end. A Psalm of David, in remembrance that the Lord had saved him.
2 Siano confusi, e svergognati coloro, che cercano l'anima mia:	2 O God, reach out to help me. O Lord, hasten to assist me.
3 Siano volti in fuga, e svergognati coloro, che si pascono de' miei mali: Sian volti in fuga subitamente, e svergognati coloro, che a me dicono: Bene sta, bene sta.	3 May those who seek my soul be confounded and awed.
4 Esultino in te, e si rallegrino tutti coloro, i quali te cercano; e coloro, che amano la salute che vien da te dican mai sempre: Glorificato sia il Signore.	4 May those who wish evils upon me be turned back and blush with shame. May they be turned away immediately, blushing with shame, who say to me: “Well, well.”
5 Io però son povero, e mendico: aiutami, o Dio.	5 Let all who seek you exult and rejoice in you, and let those who love your salvation forever say: “The Lord be magnified.”
6 Tu se' mio aiuto, e mio liberatore; Signore, non tardar più.	6 I am truly destitute and poor. O God, assist me. You are my helper and my deliverer. O Lord, do not delay.
