BIBBIA CEI 2008	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Di Davide. Quando si finse pazzo in presenza di Abimèlec, tanto che questi lo scacciò ed egli se ne andò.	1 [Of David, when he had feigned insanity before Abimelech, and Abimelech sent him away] I wil blessYahweh at al times, his praise continual y on my lips.
2 (Alef) Benedirò il Signore in ogni tempo,sulla mia bocca sempre la sua lode.	2 I will praise Yahweh from my heart; let the humble hear and rejoice.
3 (Bet) Io mi glorio nel Signore:i poveri ascoltino e si rallegrino.	3 Proclaim with me the greatness of Yahweh, let us acclaim his name together.
4 (Ghimel) Magnificate con me il Signore,esaltiamo insieme il suo nome.	4 I seek Yahweh and he answers me, frees me from al my fears.
5 (Dalet) Ho cercato il Signore: mi ha rispostoe da ogni mia paura mi ha liberato.	5 Fix your gaze on Yahweh and your face wil grow bright, you wil never hang your head in shame.
6 (He) Guardate a lui e sarete raggianti,i vostri volti non dovranno arrossire.	6 A pauper calls out and Yahweh hears, saves him from all his troubles.
7 (Zain) Questo povero grida e il Signore lo ascolta,lo salva da tutte le sue angosce.	7 The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and rescues them.
8 (Het) L’angelo del Signore si accampaattorno a quelli che lo temono, e li libera.	8 Taste and see that Yahweh is good. How blessed are those who take refuge in him.
9 (Tet) Gustate e vedete com’è buono il Signore;beato l’uomo che in lui si rifugia.	9 Fear Yahweh, you his holy ones; those who fear him lack for nothing.
10 (Iod) Temete il Signore, suoi santi:nulla manca a coloro che lo temono.	10 Young lions may go needy and hungry, but those who seek Yahweh lack nothing good.
11 (Caf) I leoni sono miseri e affamati,ma a chi cerca il Signore non manca alcun bene.	11 Come, my children, listen to me, I wil teach you the fear of Yahweh.
12 (Lamed) Venite, figli, ascoltatemi:vi insegnerò il timore del Signore.	12 Who among you delights in life, longs for time to enjoy prosperity?
13 (Mem) Chi è l’uomo che desidera la vitae ama i giorni in cui vedere il bene?	13 Guard your tongue from evil, your lips from any breath of deceit.
14 (Nun) Custodisci la lingua dal male,le labbra da parole di menzogna.	14 Turn away from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it.
15 (Samec) Sta’ lontano dal male e fa’ il bene,cerca e persegui la pace.	15 The eyes of Yahweh are on the upright, his ear turned to their cry.
16 (Ain) Gli occhi del Signore sui giusti,i suoi orecchi al loro grido di aiuto.	16 But Yahweh's face is set against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.
17 (Pe) Il volto del Signore contro i malfattori,per eliminarne dalla terra il ricordo.	17 They cry in anguish and Yahweh hears, and rescues them from al their troubles.
18 (Sade) Gridano e il Signore li ascolta,li libera da tutte le loro angosce.	18 Yahweh is near to the broken-hearted, he helps those whose spirit is crushed.
19 (Kof) Il Signore è vicino a chi ha il cuore spezzato,egli salva gli spiriti affranti.	19 Though hardships without number beset the upright, Yahweh brings rescue from them all.
20 (Res) Molti sono i mali del giusto,ma da tutti lo libera il Signore.	20 Yahweh takes care of all their bones, not one of them wil be broken.
21 (Sin) Custodisce tutte le sue ossa:neppure uno sarà spezzato.	21 But to the wicked evil brings death, those who hate the upright wil pay the penalty.
22 (Tau) Il male fa morire il malvagioe chi odia il giusto sarà condannato.	22 Yahweh ransoms the lives of those who serve him, and there wil be no penalty for those who takerefuge in him.
23 Il Signore riscatta la vita dei suoi servi; non sarà condannato chi in lui si rifugia.
