1 Al maestro del coro. Canto. Salmo.Acclamate Dio, voi tutti della terra,	1 For the leader. A song; a psalm.
2 cantate la gloria del suo nome,dategli gloria con la lode.	2 Shout joyfully to God, all you on earth; sing of his glorious name; give him glorious praise.
3 Dite a Dio: «Terribili sono le tue opere!Per la grandezza della tua potenzati lusingano i tuoi nemici.	3 Say to God: "How awesome your deeds! Before your great strength your enemies cringe.
4 A te si prostri tutta la terra,a te canti inni, canti al tuo nome».	4 All on earth fall in worship before you; they sing of you, sing of your name!" Selah
5 Venite e vedete le opere di Dio,terribile nel suo agire sugli uomini.	5 Come and see the works of God, awesome in the deeds done for us.
6 Egli cambiò il mare in terraferma;passarono a piedi il fiume:per questo in lui esultiamo di gioia.	6 He changed the sea to dry land; through the river they passed on foot. Therefore let us rejoice in him,
7 Con la sua forza domina in eterno,il suo occhio scruta le genti;contro di lui non si sollevino i ribelli.	7 who rules by might forever, Whose eyes are fixed upon the nations. Let no rebel rise to challenge! Selah
8 Popoli, benedite il nostro Dio,fate risuonare la voce della sua lode;	8 Bless our God, you peoples; loudly sound his praise,
9 è lui che ci mantiene fra i viventie non ha lasciato vacillare i nostri piedi.	9 Who has kept us alive and not allowed our feet to slip.
10 O Dio, tu ci hai messi alla prova;ci hai purificati come si purifica l’argento.	10 You tested us, O God, tried us as silver tried by fire.
11 Ci hai fatto cadere in un agguato,hai stretto i nostri fianchi in una morsa.	11 You led us into a snare; you bound us at the waist as captives.
12 Hai fatto cavalcare uomini sopra le nostre teste;siamo passati per il fuoco e per l’acqua,poi ci hai fatto uscire verso l’abbondanza.	12 You let captors set foot on our neck; we went through fire and water; then you led us out to freedom.
13 Entrerò nella tua casa con olocausti,a te scioglierò i miei voti,	13 I will bring holocausts to your house; to you I will fulfill my vows,
14 pronunciati dalle mie labbra,promessi dalla mia boccanel momento dell’angoscia.	14 The vows my lips pronounced and my mouth spoke in distress.
15 Ti offrirò grassi animali in olocaustocon il fumo odoroso di arieti,ti immolerò tori e capri.	15 Holocausts of fatlings I will offer you and burnt offerings of rams; I will sacrifice oxen and goats. Selah
16 Venite, ascoltate, voi tutti che temete Dio,e narrerò quanto per me ha fatto.	16 Come and hear, all you who fear God, while I recount what has been done for me.
17 A lui gridai con la mia bocca,lo esaltai con la mia lingua.	17 I called to the Lord with my mouth; praise was upon my tongue.
18 Se nel mio cuore avessi cercato il male,il Signore non mi avrebbe ascoltato.	18 Had I cherished evil in my heart, the Lord would not have heard.
19 Ma Dio ha ascoltato,si è fatto attento alla voce della mia preghiera.	19 But God did hear and listened to my voice in prayer.
20 Sia benedetto Dio,che non ha respinto la mia preghiera,non mi ha negato la sua misericordia.	20 Blessed be God, who did not refuse me the kindness I sought in prayer.
