1 Canto. Salmo. Di Asaf.	1 [Song Psalm Of Asaph] God, do not remain silent, do not stay quiet or unmoved, God!
2 Dio, non startene muto,non restare in silenzio e inerte, o Dio.	2 See how your enemies are in uproar, how those who hate you are rearing their heads.
3 Vedi: i tuoi nemici sono in tumultoe quelli che ti odiano alzano la testa.	3 They are laying plans against your people, conspiring against those you cherish;
4 Contro il tuo popolo tramano congiuree cospirano contro i tuoi protetti.	4 they say, 'Come, let us annihilate them as a nation, the name of Israel shall be remembered no more!'
5 Hanno detto: «Venite, cancelliamoli come popoloe più non si ricordi il nome d’Israele».	5 They conspire with a single mind, they conclude an al iance against you,
6 Hanno tramato insieme concordi,contro di te hanno concluso un patto:	6 the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites,
7 le tende di Edom e gli Ismaeliti,Moab e gli Agareni,	7 Gebal, Ammon, Amalek, Philistia and the Tyrians;
8 Gebal, Ammon e Amalèk,la Filistea con gli abitanti di Tiro.	8 even Assyria has joined them to reinforce the children of Lot.Pause
9 Anche l’Assiria è loro alleatae dà man forte ai figli di Lot.	9 Treat them like Midian and Sisera, like Jabin at the river Kishon;
10 Trattali come Madian, come Sìsara,come Iabin al torrente Kison:	10 wiped out at En-Dor, they served to manure the ground.
11 essi furono distrutti a Endor,divennero concime dei campi.	11 Treat their leaders like Oreb and Zeeb, al their commanders like Zebah and Zalmunna,
12 Rendi i loro prìncipi come Oreb e Zeeb,e come Zebach e come Salmunnà tutti i loro capi;	12 for they said, 'Let us take for ourselves God's settlements.'
13 essi dicevano:«I pascoli di Dio conquistiamoli per noi».	13 My God, treat them like thistledown, like chaff at the mercy of the wind.
14 Mio Dio, rendili come un vortice,come paglia che il vento disperde.	14 As fire devours a forest, as a flame sets mountains ablaze,
15 Come fuoco che incendia la macchiae come fiamma che divampa sui monti,	15 so drive them away with your tempest, by your whirlwind fill them with terror.
16 così tu incalzali con la tua buferae sgomentali con il tuo uragano.	16 Shame written al over their faces, let them seek your name, Yahweh!
17 Copri di vergogna i loro voltiperché cerchino il tuo nome, Signore.	17 Dishonour and terror be always theirs, death also and destruction.
18 Siano svergognati e tremanti per sempre,siano confusi e distrutti;	18 Let them know that you alone bear the name of Yahweh, Most High over al the earth.
19 sappiano che il tuo nome è «Signore»:tu solo l’Altissimo su tutta la terra.
