1 Maskil. Asaph. Ut quid, Deus, reppulisti in finem, iratus est furor tuus super oves pascuae tuae?	1 Unto the end. May you not be corrupted. A Canticle Psalm of Asaph.
2 Memor esto congregationis tuae, quam possedisti ab initio. Redemisti virgam hereditatis tuae: mons Sion, in quo habitasti.	2 We will confess to you, O God. We will confess, and we will call upon your name. We will describe your wonders.
3 Leva gressus tuos in ruinas sempiternas: omnia vastavit inimicus in sancto.	3 While I have time, I will judge justices.
4 Rugierunt, qui oderunt te, in medio congregationis tuae; posuerunt signa sua in signa.	4 The earth has been dissolved, with all who dwell in it. I have confirmed its pillars.
5 Visi sunt quasi in altum securim vibrantes in silva condensa.	5 I said to the iniquitous: “Do not act unjustly,” and to the offenders: “Do not exalt the horn.”
6 Exciderunt ianuas eius in idipsum; in securi et ascia deiecerunt.	6 Do not exalt your horn on high. Do not speak iniquity against God.
7 Incenderunt igni sanctuarium tuum, in terram polluerunt tabernaculum nominis tui;	7 For it is neither from the east, nor from the west, nor before the desert mountains.
8 dixerunt in corde suo: “ Opprimamus eos simul ”. Combusserunt omnes congregationes Dei in terra.	8 For God is judge. This one he humbles and that one he exalts.
9 Signa nostra non vidimus; iam non est propheta, et apud nos non est qui cognoscat amplius.	9 For, in the hand of the Lord, there is a cup of undiluted wine, full of consternation. And he has tipped it from here to there. So, truly, its dregs have not been emptied. All the sinners of the earth will drink.
10 Usquequo, Deus, improperabit inimicus, spernet adversarius nomen tuum in finem?	10 But I will announce it in every age. I will sing to the God of Jacob.
11 Ut quid avertis manum tuam et tenes dexteram tuam in medio sinu tuo?	11 And I will break all the horns of sinners. And the horns of the just will be exalted.
12 Deus autem rex noster ante saecula, operatus est salutes in medio terrae.
13 Tu conscidisti in virtute tua mare, contribulasti capita draconum in aquis.
14 Tu confregisti capita Leviathan, dedisti eum escam monstris maris.
15 Tu dirupisti fontes et torrentes; tu siccasti fluvios perennes.
16 Tuus est dies, et tua est nox, tu fabricatus es luminaria et solem.
17 Tu statuisti omnes terminos terrae, aestatem et hiemem, tu plasmasti ea.
18 Memor esto huius: inimicus improperavit Domino, et populus insipiens sprevit nomen tuum.
19 Ne tradas bestiis animas confitentes tibi et animas pauperum tuorum ne obliviscaris in finem.
20 Respice in testamentum, quia repleta sunt latibula terrae tentoriis violentiae.
21 Ne revertatur humilis factus confusus; pauper et inops laudabunt nomen tuum.
22 Exsurge, Deus, iudica causam tuam; memor esto improperiorum tuorum, quae ab insipiente fiunt tota die.
23 Ne obliviscaris voces inimicorum tuorum; tumultus adversariorum tuorum ascendit semper.
