NOVA VULGATA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Miktam. David. Conserva me, Deus, quoniam speravi in te.	1 [In a quiet voice Of David] Protect me, O God, in you is my refuge.
2 Dixi Domino: “ Dominus meus es tu, bonum mihi non est sine te ”.	2 To Yahweh I say, 'You are my Lord, my happiness is in none
3 In sanctos, qui sunt in terra, inclitos viros, omnis voluntas mea in eos.	3 of the sacred spirits of the earth.' They only take advantage of al who love them.
4 Multiplicantur dolores eorum, qui post deos alienos acceleraverunt. Non effundam libationes eorum de sanguinibus neque assumam nomina eorum in labiis meis.	4 People flock to their teeming idols. Never shal I pour libations to them! Never take their names on mylips.
5 Dominus pars hereditatis meae et calicis mei: tu es qui detines sortem meam.	5 My birthright, my cup is Yahweh; you, you alone, hold my lot secure.
6 Funes ceciderunt mihi in praeclaris; insuper et hereditas mea speciosa est mihi.	6 The measuring-line marks out for me a delightful place, my birthright is al I could wish.
7 Benedicam Dominum, qui tribuit mihi intellectum; insuper et in noctibus erudierunt me renes mei.	7 I bless Yahweh who is my counsel or, even at night my heart instructs me.
8 Proponebam Dominum in conspectu meo semper; quoniam a dextris est mihi, non commovebor.	8 I keep Yahweh before me always, for with him at my right hand, nothing can shake me.
9 Propter hoc laetatum est cor meum, et exsultaverunt praecordia mea; insuper et caro mea requiescet in spe.	9 So my heart rejoices, my soul delights, my body too wil rest secure,
10 Quoniam non derelinques animam meam in inferno nec dabis sanctum tuum videre corruptionem.	10 for you wil not abandon me to Sheol, you cannot al ow your faithful servant to see the abyss.
11 Notas mihi facies vias vitae, plenitudinem laetitiae cum vultu tuo, delectationes in dextera tua usque in finem.	11 You wil teach me the path of life, unbounded joy in your presence, at your right hand delight for ever.
