1 Al maestro del coro. Su «Non distruggere». Salmo. Di Asaf. Canto.	1 [For the choirmaster Tune: 'Do not destroy' Psalm Of Asaph Song] We give thanks to you, God, wegive thanks to you, as we cal upon your name, as we recount your wonders.
2 Noi ti rendiamo grazie, o Dio, ti rendiamo grazie:invocando il tuo nome, raccontiamo le tue meraviglie.	2 'At the appointed time I myself shal dispense justice.
3 Sì, nel tempo da me stabilitoio giudicherò con rettitudine.	3 The earth quakes and al its inhabitants; it is I who hold its pil ars firm.Pause
4 Tremi pure la terra con i suoi abitanti:io tengo salde le sue colonne.	4 'I said to the boastful, "Do not boast!" to the wicked, "Do not flaunt your strength!
5 Dico a chi si vanta: «Non vantatevi!»,e ai malvagi: «Non alzate la fronte!».	5 Do not flaunt your strength so proudly, do not talk with that arrogant stance." '
6 Non alzate la fronte contro il cielo,non parlate con aria insolente.	6 No longer from east to west, no longer in the mountainous desert,
7 Né dall’oriente né dall’occidentené dal deserto viene l’esaltazione,	7 is God judging in uprightness, bringing some down, raising others.
8 perché Dio è giudice:è lui che abbatte l’uno ed esalta l’altro.	8 Yahweh is holding a cup fil ed with a heady blend of wine; he wil pour it, they wil drink it to the dregs, al the wicked on earth wil drink it.
9 Il Signore infatti tiene in mano una coppa,colma di vino drogato.Egli ne versa: fino alla feccia lo dovranno sorbire,ne berranno tutti i malvagi della terra.	9 But I shal speak out for ever, shal make music for the God of Jacob.
10 Ma io ne parlerò per sempre,canterò inni al Dio di Giacobbe.	10 I shal break down al the strength of the wicked, and the strength of the upright will rise high.
11 Piegherò la fronte dei malvagi,s’innalzerà la fronte dei giusti.
