2 Pietà di me, o Dio, perché un uomo mi perseguita,un aggressore tutto il giorno mi opprime.	2 Have mercy on me, God, for I am treated harshly; attackers press me all the day.
3 Tutto il giorno mi perseguitano i miei nemici,numerosi sono quelli che dall’alto mi combattono.	3 My foes treat me harshly all the day; yes, many are my attackers. O Most High,
4 Nell’ora della pauraio in te confido.	4 when I am afraid, in you I place my trust.
5 In Dio, di cui lodo la parola,in Dio confido, non avrò timore:che cosa potrà farmi un essere di carne?	5 God, I praise your promise; in you I trust, I do not fear. What can mere flesh do to me?
6 Travisano tutto il giorno le mie parole,ogni loro progetto su di me è per il male.	6 All the day they foil my plans; their every thought is of evil against me.
7 Congiurano, tendono insidie,spiano i miei passi, per attentare alla mia vita.	7 They hide together in ambush; they watch my every step; they lie in wait for my life.
8 Ripagali per tanta cattiveria!Nella tua ira abbatti i popoli, o Dio.	8 They are evil; watch them, God! Cast the nations down in your anger!
9 I passi del mio vagare tu li hai contati,nel tuo otre raccogli le mie lacrime:non sono forse scritte nel tuo libro?	9 My wanderings you have noted; are my tears not stored in your vial, recorded in your book?
10 Allora si ritireranno i miei nemici,nel giorno in cui ti avrò invocato;questo io so: che Dio è per me.	10 My foes turn back when I call on you. This I know: God is on my side.
11 In Dio, di cui lodo la parola,nel Signore, di cui lodo la parola,	11 God, I praise your promise;
12 in Dio confido, non avrò timore:che cosa potrà farmi un uomo?	12 in you I trust, I do not fear. What can mere mortals do to me?
13 Manterrò, o Dio, i voti che ti ho fatto:ti renderò azioni di grazie,	13 I have made vows to you, God; with offerings I will fulfill them,
14 perché hai liberato la mia vita dalla morte,i miei piedi dalla caduta,per camminare davanti a Dionella luce dei viventi.	14 Once you have snatched me from death, kept my feet from stumbling, That I may walk before God in the light of the living.
