1 (Alef) Beato chi è integro nella sua viae cammina nella legge del Signore.	1 How blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the Law of Yahweh!
2 Beato chi custodisce i suoi insegnamentie lo cerca con tutto il cuore.	2 Blessed are those who observe his instructions, who seek him with all their hearts,
3 Non commette certo ingiustiziee cammina nelle sue vie.	3 and, doing no evil, who walk in his ways.
4 Tu hai promulgato i tuoi precettiperché siano osservati interamente.	4 You lay down your precepts to be careful y kept.
5 Siano stabili le mie vienel custodire i tuoi decreti.	5 May my ways be steady in doing your wil .
6 Non dovrò allora vergognarmi,se avrò considerato tutti i tuoi comandi.	6 Then I shal not be shamed, if my gaze is fixed on your commandments.
7 Ti loderò con cuore sincero,quando avrò appreso i tuoi giusti giudizi.	7 I thank you with a sincere heart for teaching me your upright judgements.
8 Voglio osservare i tuoi decreti:non abbandonarmi mai.	8 I shal do your will; do not ever abandon me whol y.
9 (Bet) Come potrà un giovane tenere pura la sua via?Osservando la tua parola.	9 How can a young man keep his way spotless? By keeping your words.
10 Con tutto il mio cuore ti cerco:non lasciarmi deviare dai tuoi comandi.	10 With al my heart I seek you, do not let me stray from your commandments.
11 Ripongo nel cuore la tua promessaper non peccare contro di te.	11 In my heart I treasure your promises, to avoid sinning against you.
12 Benedetto sei tu, Signore:insegnami i tuoi decreti.	12 Blessed are you, Yahweh, teach me your wil !
13 Con le mie labbra ho raccontatotutti i giudizi della tua bocca.	13 With my lips I have repeated al the judgements you have given.
14 Nella via dei tuoi insegnamenti è la mia gioia,più che in tutte le ricchezze.	14 In the way of your instructions lies my joy, a joy beyond al wealth.
15 Voglio meditare i tuoi precetti,considerare le tue vie.	15 I will ponder your precepts and fix my gaze on your paths.
16 Nei tuoi decreti è la mia delizia,non dimenticherò la tua parola.	16 I find my delight in your wil , I do not forget your words.
17 (Ghimel) Sii benevolo con il tuo servo e avrò vita,osserverò la tua parola.	17 Be generous to your servant and I shal live, and shal keep your words.
18 Aprimi gli occhi perché io considerile meraviglie della tua legge.	18 Open my eyes and I shal fix my gaze on the wonders of your Law.
19 Forestiero sono qui sulla terra:non nascondermi i tuoi comandi.	19 Wayfarer though I am on the earth, do not hide your commandments from me.
20 Io mi consumo nel desideriodei tuoi giudizi in ogni momento.	20 My heart is pining away with longing at all times for your judgements.
21 Tu minacci gli orgogliosi, i maledetti,che deviano dai tuoi comandi.	21 You have rebuked the arrogant, the accursed, who stray from your commandments.
22 Allontana da me vergogna e disprezzo,perché ho custodito i tuoi insegnamenti.	22 Set me free from taunts and contempt since I observe your instructions.
23 Anche se i potenti siedono e mi calunniano,il tuo servo medita i tuoi decreti.	23 Though princes sit plotting against me, your servant keeps pondering your wil .
24 I tuoi insegnamenti sono la mia delizia:sono essi i miei consiglieri.	24 Your instructions are my delight, your wishes my counsellors.
25 (Dalet) La mia vita è incollata alla polvere:fammi vivere secondo la tua parola.	25 Down in the dust I lie prostrate; true to your word, revive me.
26 Ti ho manifestato le mie vie e tu mi hai risposto;insegnami i tuoi decreti.	26 I tell you my ways and you answer me; teach me your wishes.
27 Fammi conoscere la via dei tuoi precettie mediterò le tue meraviglie.	27 Show me the way of your precepts, that I may reflect on your wonders.
28 Io piango lacrime di tristezza;fammi rialzare secondo la tua parola.	28 I am melting away for grief; true to your word, raise me up.
29 Tieni lontana da me la via della menzogna,donami la grazia della tua legge.	29 Keep me far from the way of deceit, grant me the grace of your Law.
30 Ho scelto la via della fedeltà,mi sono proposto i tuoi giudizi.	30 I have chosen the way of constancy, I have moulded myself to your judgements.
31 Ho aderito ai tuoi insegnamenti:Signore, che io non debba vergognarmi.	31 I cling to your instructions, Yahweh, do not disappoint me.
32 Corro sulla via dei tuoi comandi,perché hai allargato il mio cuore.	32 I run the way of your commandments, for you have given me freedom of heart.
33 (He) Insegnami, Signore, la via dei tuoi decretie la custodirò sino alla fine.	33 Teach me, Yahweh, the way of your will, and I wil observe it.
34 Dammi intelligenza, perché io custodisca la tua leggee la osservi con tutto il cuore.	34 Give me understanding and I will observe your Law, and keep it wholeheartedly.
35 Guidami sul sentiero dei tuoi comandi,perché in essi è la mia felicità.	35 Guide me in the way of your commandments, for my delight is there.
36 Piega il mio cuore verso i tuoi insegnamentie non verso il guadagno.	36 Bend my heart to your instructions, not to selfish gain.
37 Distogli i miei occhi dal guardare cose vane,fammi vivere nella tua via.	37 Avert my eyes from pointless images, by your word give me life.
38 Con il tuo servo mantieni la tua promessa,perché di te si abbia timore.	38 Keep your promise to your servant so that al may hold you in awe.
39 Allontana l’insulto che mi sgomenta,poiché i tuoi giudizi sono buoni.	39 Avert the taunts that I dread, for your judgements are generous.
40 Ecco, desidero i tuoi precetti:fammi vivere nella tua giustizia.	40 See how I yearn for your precepts; in your saving justice give me life.
41 (Vau) Venga a me, Signore, il tuo amore,la tua salvezza secondo la tua promessa.	41 Let your faithful love come to me, Yahweh, true to your promise, save me!
42 A chi mi insulta darò una risposta,perché ho fiducia nella tua parola.	42 Give me an answer to the taunts against me, since I rely on your word.
43 Non togliere dalla mia bocca la parola vera,perché spero nei tuoi giudizi.	43 Do not deprive me of that faithful word, since my hope lies in your judgements.
44 Osserverò continuamente la tua legge,in eterno, per sempre.	44 I shal keep your Law without fail for ever and ever.
45 Camminerò in un luogo spazioso,perché ho ricercato i tuoi precetti.	45 I shal live in all freedom because I have sought your precepts.
46 Davanti ai re parlerò dei tuoi insegnamentie non dovrò vergognarmi.	46 I shal speak of your instructions before kings and wil not be shamed.
47 La mia delizia sarà nei tuoi comandi,che io amo.	47 Your commandments fill me with delight, I love them dearly.
48 Alzerò le mani verso i tuoi comandi che amo,mediterò i tuoi decreti.	48 I stretch out my hands to your commandments that I love, and I ponder your judgements.
49 (Zain) Ricòrdati della parola detta al tuo servo,con la quale mi hai dato speranza.	49 Keep in mind your promise to your servant on which I have built my hope.
50 Questo mi consola nella mia miseria:la tua promessa mi fa vivere.	50 It is my comfort in distress, that your promise gives me life.
51 Gli orgogliosi mi insultano aspramente,ma io non mi allontano dalla tua legge.	51 Endlessly the arrogant have jeered at me, but I have not swerved from your Law.
52 Ricordo i tuoi eterni giudizi, o Signore,e ne sono consolato.	52 I have kept your age -- old judgements in mind, Yahweh, and I am comforted.
53 Mi ha invaso il furore contro i malvagiche abbandonano la tua legge.	53 Fury grips me when I see the wicked who abandon your Law.
54 I tuoi decreti sono il mio cantonella dimora del mio esilio.	54 Your judgements are my song where I live in exile.
55 Nella notte ricordo il tuo nome, Signore,e osservo la tua legge.	55 Al night, Yahweh, I hold your name in mind, I keep your Law.
56 Tutto questo mi accadeperché ho custodito i tuoi precetti.	56 This is what it means to me, observing your precepts.
57 (Het)La mia parte è il Signore:ho deciso di osservare le tue parole.	57 My task, I have said, Yahweh, is to keep your word.
58 Con tutto il cuore ho placato il tuo volto:abbi pietà di me secondo la tua promessa.	58 Wholeheartedly I entreat your favour; true to your promise, take pity on me!
59 Ho esaminato le mie vie,ho rivolto i miei piedi verso i tuoi insegnamenti.	59 I have reflected on my ways, and I turn my steps to your instructions.
60 Mi affretto e non voglio tardarea osservare i tuoi comandi.	60 I hurry without delay to keep your commandments.
61 I lacci dei malvagi mi hanno avvolto:non ho dimenticato la tua legge.	61 Though caught in the snares of the wicked, I do not forget your Law.
62 Nel cuore della notte mi alzo a renderti grazieper i tuoi giusti giudizi.	62 At midnight I rise to praise you for your upright judgements.
63 Sono amico di coloro che ti temonoe osservano i tuoi precetti.	63 I am a friend to all who fear you and keep your precepts.
64 Del tuo amore, Signore, è piena la terra;insegnami i tuoi decreti.	64 Your faithful love fil s the earth, Yahweh, teach me your judgements.
65 (Tet) Hai fatto del bene al tuo servo,secondo la tua parola, Signore.	65 You have been generous to your servant, Yahweh, true to your promise.
66 Insegnami il gusto del bene e la conoscenza,perché ho fiducia nei tuoi comandi.	66 Teach me judgement and knowledge, for I rely on your commandments.
67 Prima di essere umiliato andavo errando,ma ora osservo la tua promessa.	67 Before I was punished I used to go astray, but now I keep to your promise.
68 Tu sei buono e fai il bene:insegnami i tuoi decreti.	68 You are generous and act generously, teach me your wil .
69 Gli orgogliosi mi hanno coperto di menzogne,ma io con tutto il cuore custodisco i tuoi precetti.	69 The arrogant blacken me with lies though I wholeheartedly observe your precepts.
70 Insensibile come il grasso è il loro cuore:nella tua legge io trovo la mia delizia.	70 Their hearts are gross like rich fat, but my delight is in your Law.
71 Bene per me se sono stato umiliato,perché impari i tuoi decreti.	71 It was good for me that I had to suffer, the better to learn your judgements.
72 Bene per me è la legge della tua bocca,più di mille pezzi d’oro e d’argento.	72 The Law you have uttered is more precious to me than al the wealth in the world.
73 (Iod) Le tue mani mi hanno fatto e plasmato:fammi capire e imparerò i tuoi comandi.	73 Your hands have made me and held me firm, give me understanding and I shal learn yourcommandments.
74 Quelli che ti temono al vedermi avranno gioia,perché spero nella tua parola.	74 Those who fear you rejoice at the sight of me since I put my hope in your word.
75 Signore, io so che i tuoi giudizi sono giustie con ragione mi hai umiliato.	75 I know, Yahweh, that your judgements are upright, and in punishing me you show your constancy.
76 Il tuo amore sia la mia consolazione,secondo la promessa fatta al tuo servo.	76 Your faithful love must be my consolation, as you have promised your servant.
77 Venga a me la tua misericordia e io avrò vita,perché la tua legge è la mia delizia.	77 Treat me with tenderness and I shall live, for your Law is my delight.
78 Si vergognino gli orgogliosi che mi opprimono con menzogne:io mediterò i tuoi precetti.	78 Let the arrogant who tell lies against me be shamed, while I ponder your precepts.
79 Si volgano a me quelli che ti temonoe che conoscono i tuoi insegnamenti.	79 Let those who fear you rally to me, those who understand your instructions.
80 Sia integro il mio cuore nei tuoi decreti,perché non debba vergognarmi.	80 My heart shall be faultless towards your wil ; then I shall not be ashamed.
81 (Caf) Mi consumo nell’attesa della tua salvezza,spero nella tua parola.	81 I shal wear myself out for your salvation, for your word is my hope.
82 Si consumano i miei occhi per la tua promessa,dicendo: «Quando mi darai conforto?».	82 My eyes, too, are worn out waiting for your promise, when wil you have pity on me?
83 Io sono come un otre esposto al fumo,non dimentico i tuoi decreti.	83 For I am like a smoked wineskin, but I do not forget your wil .
84 Quanti saranno i giorni del tuo servo?Quando terrai il giudizio contro i miei persecutori?	84 How long has your servant to live? When wil you bring my persecutors to judgement?
85 Mi hanno scavato fosse gli orgogliosi,che non seguono la tua legge.	85 The arrogant have dug pitfalls for me in defiance of your Law.
86 Fedeli sono tutti i tuoi comandi.A torto mi perseguitano: vieni in mio aiuto!	86 Al your commandments show constancy. Help me when they pursue me dishonestly.
87 Per poco non mi hanno fatto sparire dalla terra,ma io non ho abbandonato i tuoi precetti.	87 They have almost annihilated me on earth, but I have not deserted your precepts.
88 Secondo il tuo amore fammi viveree osserverò l’insegnamento della tua bocca.	88 True to your faithful love, give me life, and I shal keep the instructions you have laid down.
89 (Lamed) Per sempre, o Signore,la tua parola è stabile nei cieli.	89 For ever, Yahweh, your word is planted firm in heaven.
90 La tua fedeltà di generazione in generazione;hai fondato la terra ed essa è salda.	90 Your constancy endures from age to age; you established the earth and it stands firm.
91 Per i tuoi giudizi tutto è stabile fino ad oggi,perché ogni cosa è al tuo servizio.	91 Through your judgements al stands firm to this day, for al creation is your servant.
92 Se la tua legge non fosse la mia delizia,davvero morirei nella mia miseria.	92 Had your Law not been my delight, I would have perished in my misery.
93 Mai dimenticherò i tuoi precetti,perché con essi tu mi fai vivere.	93 I shal never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.
94 Io sono tuo: salvami,perché ho ricercato i tuoi precetti.	94 I am yours, save me, for I seek your precepts.
95 I malvagi sperano di rovinarmi;io presto attenzione ai tuoi insegnamenti.	95 The wicked may hope to destroy me, but al my thought is of your instructions.
96 Di ogni cosa perfetta ho visto il confine:l’ampiezza dei tuoi comandi è infinita.	96 I have seen that al perfection is finite, but your commandment has no limit.
97 (Mem) Quanto amo la tua legge!La medito tutto il giorno.	97 How I love your Law! I ponder it al day long.
98 Il tuo comando mi fa più saggio dei miei nemici,perché esso è sempre con me.	98 You make me wiser than my enemies by your commandment which is mine for ever.
99 Sono più saggio di tutti i miei maestri,perché medito i tuoi insegnamenti.	99 I am wiser than al my teachers because I ponder your instructions.
100 Ho più intelligenza degli anziani,perché custodisco i tuoi precetti.	100 I have more understanding than the aged because I keep your precepts.
101 Tengo lontani i miei piedi da ogni cattivo sentiero,per osservare la tua parola.	101 I restrain my foot from evil paths to keep your word.
102 Non mi allontano dai tuoi giudizi,perché sei tu a istruirmi.	102 I do not turn aside from your judgements, because you yourself have instructed me.
103 Quanto sono dolci al mio palato le tue promesse,più del miele per la mia bocca.	103 How pleasant your promise to my palate, sweeter than honey in my mouth!
104 I tuoi precetti mi danno intelligenza,perciò odio ogni falso sentiero.	104 From your precepts I learn wisdom, so I hate all deceptive ways.
105 (Nun) Lampada per i miei passi è la tua parola,luce sul mio cammino.	105 Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
106 Ho giurato, e lo confermo,di osservare i tuoi giusti giudizi.	106 I have sworn -- and shal maintain it -- to keep your upright judgements.
107 Sono tanto umiliato, Signore:dammi vita secondo la tua parola.	107 I am utterly wretched, Yahweh; true to your promise, give me life.
108 Signore, gradisci le offerte delle mie labbra,insegnami i tuoi giudizi.	108 Accept, Yahweh, the tribute from my mouth, and teach me your judgements.
109 La mia vita è sempre in pericolo,ma non dimentico la tua legge.	109 My life is in your hands perpetual y, I do not forget your Law.
110 I malvagi mi hanno teso un tranello,ma io non ho deviato dai tuoi precetti.	110 The wicked have laid out a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts.
111 Mia eredità per sempre sono i tuoi insegnamenti,perché sono essi la gioia del mio cuore.	111 Your instructions are my eternal heritage, they are the joy of my heart.
112 Ho piegato il mio cuore a compiere i tuoi decreti,in eterno, senza fine.	112 I devote myself to obeying your statutes, their recompense is eternal.
113 (Samec) Odio chi ha il cuore diviso;io invece amo la tua legge.	113 I hate a divided heart, I love your Law.
114 Tu sei mio rifugio e mio scudo:spero nella tua parola.	114 You are my refuge and shield, I put my hope in your word.
115 Allontanatevi da me, o malvagi:voglio custodire i comandi del mio Dio.	115 Leave me alone, you wicked, I shal observe the commandments of my God.
116 Sostienimi secondo la tua promessa e avrò vita,non deludere la mia speranza.	116 True to your word, support me and I shal live; do not disappoint me of my hope.
117 Aiutami e sarò salvo,non perderò mai di vista i tuoi decreti.	117 Uphold me and I shall be saved, my gaze fixed on your wil .
118 Tu disprezzi chi abbandona i tuoi decreti,perché menzogne sono i suoi pensieri.	118 You shake off al who stray from your wil ; deceit fills their horizon.
119 Tu consideri scorie tutti i malvagi della terra,perciò amo i tuoi insegnamenti.	119 In your sight al the wicked of the earth are like rust, so I love your instructions.
120 Per paura di te la mia pelle rabbrividisce:io temo i tuoi giudizi.	120 My whole body trembles before you, your judgements fill me with fear.
121 (Ain) Ho agito secondo giudizio e giustizia;non abbandonarmi ai miei oppressori.	121 Al my conduct has been just and upright, do not hand me over to my oppressors.
122 Assicura il bene al tuo servo;non mi opprimano gli orgogliosi.	122 Guarantee the wel -being of your servant, do not let the proud oppress me.
123 I miei occhi si consumano nell’attesa della tua salvezzae per la promessa della tua giustizia.	123 My eyes are languishing for your salvation and for the saving justice you have promised.
124 Agisci con il tuo servo secondo il tuo amoree insegnami i tuoi decreti.	124 Show your faithful love to your servant, teach me your judgements.
125 Io sono tuo servo: fammi comprenderee conoscerò i tuoi insegnamenti.	125 Your servant am I; give me understanding and I shal know your instructions.
126 È tempo che tu agisca, Signore:hanno infranto la tua legge.	126 It is time to take action, Yahweh, your Law is being broken.
127 Perciò amo i tuoi comandi,più dell’oro, dell’oro più fino.	127 So I love your commandments more than gold, purest gold.
128 Per questo io considero retti tutti i tuoi precettie odio ogni falso sentiero.	128 So I rule my life by your precepts, I hate al deceptive paths.
129 (Pe) Meravigliosi sono i tuoi insegnamenti:per questo li custodisco.	129 Wonderful are your instructions, so I observe them.
130 La rivelazione delle tue parole illumina,dona intelligenza ai semplici.	130 As your word unfolds it gives light, and even the simple understand.
131 Apro anelante la mia bocca,perché ho sete dei tuoi comandi.	131 I open wide my mouth, panting eagerly for your commandments.
132 Volgiti a me e abbi pietà,con il giudizio che riservi a chi ama il tuo nome.	132 Turn to me, pity me; those who love your name deserve it.
133 Rendi saldi i miei passi secondo la tua promessae non permettere che mi domini alcun male.	133 Keep my steps firm in your promise; that no evil may triumph over me.
134 Riscattami dall’oppressione dell’uomoe osserverò i tuoi precetti.	134 Rescue me from human oppression, and I wil observe your precepts.
135 Fa’ risplendere il tuo volto sul tuo servoe insegnami i tuoi decreti.	135 Let your face shine on your servant, teach me your wil .
136 Torrenti di lacrime scorrono dai miei occhi,perché non si osserva la tua legge.	136 My eyes stream with tears because your Law is disregarded.
137 (Sade) Tu sei giusto, Signore,e retto nei tuoi giudizi.	137 You are upright, Yahweh, and your judgements are honest.
138 Con giustizia hai promulgato i tuoi insegnamentie con grande fedeltà.	138 You impose uprightness as a witness to yourself, it is constancy itself.
139 Uno zelo ardente mi consuma,perché i miei avversari dimenticano le tue parole.	139 My zeal is burning me up because my oppressors forget your word.
140 Limpida e pura è la tua promessae il tuo servo la ama.	140 Your promise is wel tested, your servant holds it dear.
141 Io sono piccolo e disprezzato:non dimentico i tuoi precetti.	141 Puny and despised as I am, I do not forget your precepts.
142 La tua giustizia è giustizia eternae la tua legge è verità.	142 Your saving justice is for ever just, and your Law is trustworthy.
143 Angoscia e affanno mi hanno colto:i tuoi comandi sono la mia delizia.	143 Though anguish and distress grip me your commandments are my delight.
144 Giustizia eterna sono i tuoi insegnamenti:fammi comprendere e avrò la vita.	144 Your instructions are upright for ever, give me understanding and I shal live.
145 (Kof) Invoco con tutto il cuore: Signore, rispondimi;custodirò i tuoi decreti.	145 I cal with al my heart; answer me, Yahweh, and I wil observe your judgements.
146 Io t’invoco: salvamie osserverò i tuoi insegnamenti.	146 I cal to you; save me, and I wil keep your instructions.
147 Precedo l’aurora e grido aiuto,spero nelle tue parole.	147 I am awake before dawn to cry for help, I put my hope in your word.
148 I miei occhi precedono il mattino,per meditare sulla tua promessa.	148 My eyes are awake before each watch of the night, to ponder your promise.
149 Ascolta la mia voce, secondo il tuo amore;Signore, fammi vivere secondo il tuo giudizio.	149 In your faithful love, Yahweh, listen to my voice, let your judgements give me life.
150 Si avvicinano quelli che seguono il male:sono lontani dalla tua legge.	150 My pursuers are coming closer to their wicked designs, and further from your Law.
151 Tu, Signore, sei vicino;tutti i tuoi comandi sono verità.	151 You are close to me, Yahweh, and all your commandments are true.
152 Da tempo lo so: i tuoi insegnamentili hai stabiliti per sempre.	152 Long have I known that your instructions were laid down to last for ever.
153 (Res) Vedi la mia miseria e liberami,perché non ho dimenticato la tua legge.	153 Look at my suffering and rescue me, for I do not forget your Law.
154 Difendi la mia causa e riscattami,secondo la tua promessa fammi vivere.	154 Plead my cause and defend me; as you promised, give me life.
155 Lontana dai malvagi è la salvezza,perché essi non ricercano i tuoi decreti.	155 Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek your will.
156 Grande è la tua tenerezza, Signore:fammi vivere secondo i tuoi giudizi.	156 Your kindnesses to me are countless, Yahweh; true to your judgements, give me life.
157 Molti mi perseguitano e mi affliggono,ma io non abbandono i tuoi insegnamenti.	157 Though my enemies and oppressors are countless, I do not turn aside from your instructions.
158 Ho visto i traditori e ne ho provato ribrezzo,perché non osservano la tua promessa.	158 The sight of these renegades appals me; they do not observe your promise.
159 Vedi che io amo i tuoi precetti:Signore, secondo il tuo amore dammi vita.	159 See how I love your precepts; true to your faithful love, give me life.
160 La verità è fondamento della tua parola,ogni tuo giusto giudizio dura in eterno.	160 Faithfulness is the essence of your word, your upright judgements hold good for ever.
161 (Sin) I potenti mi perseguitano senza motivo,ma il mio cuore teme solo le tue parole.	161 Though princes hound me unprovoked, what fil s me with awe is your word.
162 Io gioisco per la tua promessa,come chi trova un grande bottino.	162 I rejoice in your promise like one who finds a vast treasure.
163 Odio la menzogna e la detesto,amo la tua legge.	163 Falsehood I hate and detest, my love is for your Law.
164 Sette volte al giorno io ti lodo,per i tuoi giusti giudizi.	164 Seven times a day I praise you for your upright judgements.
165 Grande pace per chi ama la tua legge:nel suo cammino non trova inciampo.	165 Great peace for those who love your Law; no stumbling-blocks for them!
166 Aspetto da te la salvezza, Signore,e metto in pratica i tuoi comandi.	166 I am waiting for your salvation, Yahweh, I fulfil your commandments.
