1 (Alef) Beato chi è integro nella sua viae cammina nella legge del Signore.	1 Happy those whose way is blameless, who walk by the teaching of the LORD.
2 Beato chi custodisce i suoi insegnamentie lo cerca con tutto il cuore.	2 Happy those who observe God's decrees, who seek the LORD with all their heart.
3 Non commette certo ingiustiziee cammina nelle sue vie.	3 They do no wrong; they walk in God's ways.
4 Tu hai promulgato i tuoi precettiperché siano osservati interamente.	4 You have given them the command to keep your precepts with care.
5 Siano stabili le mie vienel custodire i tuoi decreti.	5 May my ways be firm in the observance of your laws!
6 Non dovrò allora vergognarmi,se avrò considerato tutti i tuoi comandi.	6 Then I will not be ashamed to ponder all your commands.
7 Ti loderò con cuore sincero,quando avrò appreso i tuoi giusti giudizi.	7 I will praise you with sincere heart as I study your just edicts.
8 Voglio osservare i tuoi decreti:non abbandonarmi mai.	8 I will keep your laws; do not leave me all alone.
9 (Bet) Come potrà un giovane tenere pura la sua via?Osservando la tua parola.	9 How can the young walk without fault? Only by keeping your words.
10 Con tutto il mio cuore ti cerco:non lasciarmi deviare dai tuoi comandi.	10 With all my heart I seek you; do not let me stray from your commands.
11 Ripongo nel cuore la tua promessaper non peccare contro di te.	11 In my heart I treasure your promise, that I may not sin against you.
12 Benedetto sei tu, Signore:insegnami i tuoi decreti.	12 Blessed are you, O LORD; teach me your laws.
13 Con le mie labbra ho raccontatotutti i giudizi della tua bocca.	13 With my lips I recite all the edicts you have spoken.
14 Nella via dei tuoi insegnamenti è la mia gioia,più che in tutte le ricchezze.	14 I find joy in the way of your decrees more than in all riches.
15 Voglio meditare i tuoi precetti,considerare le tue vie.	15 I will ponder your precepts and consider your paths.
16 Nei tuoi decreti è la mia delizia,non dimenticherò la tua parola.	16 In your laws I take delight; I will never forget your word.
17 (Ghimel) Sii benevolo con il tuo servo e avrò vita,osserverò la tua parola.	17 Be kind to your servant that I may live, that I may keep your word.
18 Aprimi gli occhi perché io considerile meraviglie della tua legge.	18 Open my eyes to see clearly the wonders of your teachings.
19 Forestiero sono qui sulla terra:non nascondermi i tuoi comandi.	19 I am a sojourner in the land; do not hide your commands from me.
20 Io mi consumo nel desideriodei tuoi giudizi in ogni momento.	20 At all times my soul is stirred with longing for your edicts.
21 Tu minacci gli orgogliosi, i maledetti,che deviano dai tuoi comandi.	21 With a curse you rebuke the proud who stray from your commands.
22 Allontana da me vergogna e disprezzo,perché ho custodito i tuoi insegnamenti.	22 Free me from disgrace and contempt, for I observe your decrees.
23 Anche se i potenti siedono e mi calunniano,il tuo servo medita i tuoi decreti.	23 Though princes meet and talk against me, your servant studies your laws.
24 I tuoi insegnamenti sono la mia delizia:sono essi i miei consiglieri.	24 Your decrees are my delight; they are my counselors.
25 (Dalet) La mia vita è incollata alla polvere:fammi vivere secondo la tua parola.	25 I lie prostrate in the dust; give me life in accord with your word.
26 Ti ho manifestato le mie vie e tu mi hai risposto;insegnami i tuoi decreti.	26 I disclosed my ways and you answered me; teach me your laws.
27 Fammi conoscere la via dei tuoi precettie mediterò le tue meraviglie.	27 Make me understand the way of your precepts; I will ponder your wondrous deeds.
28 Io piango lacrime di tristezza;fammi rialzare secondo la tua parola.	28 I weep in bitter pain; in accord with your word to strengthen me.
29 Tieni lontana da me la via della menzogna,donami la grazia della tua legge.	29 Lead me from the way of deceit; favor me with your teaching.
30 Ho scelto la via della fedeltà,mi sono proposto i tuoi giudizi.	30 The way of loyalty I have chosen; I have set your edicts before me. <
31 Ho aderito ai tuoi insegnamenti:Signore, che io non debba vergognarmi.	31 I cling to your decrees, LORD; do not let me come to shame.
32 Corro sulla via dei tuoi comandi,perché hai allargato il mio cuore.	32 I will run the way of your commands, for you open my docile heart.
33 (He) Insegnami, Signore, la via dei tuoi decretie la custodirò sino alla fine.	33 LORD, teach me the way of your laws; I shall observe them with care.
34 Dammi intelligenza, perché io custodisca la tua leggee la osservi con tutto il cuore.	34 Give me insight to observe your teaching, to keep it with all my heart.
35 Guidami sul sentiero dei tuoi comandi,perché in essi è la mia felicità.	35 Lead me in the path of your commands, for that is my delight.
36 Piega il mio cuore verso i tuoi insegnamentie non verso il guadagno.	36 Direct my heart toward your decrees and away from unjust gain.
37 Distogli i miei occhi dal guardare cose vane,fammi vivere nella tua via.	37 Avert my eyes from what is worthless; by your way give me life.
38 Con il tuo servo mantieni la tua promessa,perché di te si abbia timore.	38 For your servant fulfill your promise made to those who fear you.
39 Allontana l’insulto che mi sgomenta,poiché i tuoi giudizi sono buoni.	39 Turn away from me the taunts I dread, for your edicts bring good.
40 Ecco, desidero i tuoi precetti:fammi vivere nella tua giustizia.	40 See how I long for your precepts; in your justice give me life.
41 (Vau) Venga a me, Signore, il tuo amore,la tua salvezza secondo la tua promessa.	41 Let your love come to me, LORD, salvation in accord with your promise.
42 A chi mi insulta darò una risposta,perché ho fiducia nella tua parola.	42 Let me answer my taunters with a word, for I trust in your word.
43 Non togliere dalla mia bocca la parola vera,perché spero nei tuoi giudizi.	43 Do not take the word of truth from my mouth, for in your edicts is my hope.
44 Osserverò continuamente la tua legge,in eterno, per sempre.	44 I will keep your teachings always, for all time and forever.
45 Camminerò in un luogo spazioso,perché ho ricercato i tuoi precetti.	45 I will walk freely in an open space because I cherish your precepts.
46 Davanti ai re parlerò dei tuoi insegnamentie non dovrò vergognarmi.	46 I will speak openly of your decrees without fear even before kings.
47 La mia delizia sarà nei tuoi comandi,che io amo.	47 I delight in your commands, which I dearly love.
48 Alzerò le mani verso i tuoi comandi che amo,mediterò i tuoi decreti.	48 I lift up my hands to your commands; I study your laws, which I love.
49 (Zain) Ricòrdati della parola detta al tuo servo,con la quale mi hai dato speranza.	49 Remember your word to your servant by which you give me hope.
50 Questo mi consola nella mia miseria:la tua promessa mi fa vivere.	50 This is my comfort in affliction, your promise that gives me life.
51 Gli orgogliosi mi insultano aspramente,ma io non mi allontano dalla tua legge.	51 Though the arrogant utterly scorn me, I do not turn from your teaching.
52 Ricordo i tuoi eterni giudizi, o Signore,e ne sono consolato.	52 When I recite your edicts of old I am comforted, LORD.
53 Mi ha invaso il furore contro i malvagiche abbandonano la tua legge.	53 Rage seizes me because of the wicked; they forsake your teaching.
54 I tuoi decreti sono il mio cantonella dimora del mio esilio.	54 Your laws become my songs wherever I make my home.
55 Nella notte ricordo il tuo nome, Signore,e osservo la tua legge.	55 Even at night I remember your name in observance of your teaching, LORD.
56 Tutto questo mi accadeperché ho custodito i tuoi precetti.	56 This is my good fortune, for I have observed your precepts.
57 (Het)La mia parte è il Signore:ho deciso di osservare le tue parole.	57 My portion is the LORD; I promise to keep your words.
58 Con tutto il cuore ho placato il tuo volto:abbi pietà di me secondo la tua promessa.	58 I entreat you with all my heart: have mercy on me in accord with your promise.
59 Ho esaminato le mie vie,ho rivolto i miei piedi verso i tuoi insegnamenti.	59 I have examined my ways and turned my steps to your decrees.
60 Mi affretto e non voglio tardarea osservare i tuoi comandi.	60 I am prompt, I do not hesitate in keeping your commands.
61 I lacci dei malvagi mi hanno avvolto:non ho dimenticato la tua legge.	61 Though the snares of the wicked surround me, your teaching I do not forget.
62 Nel cuore della notte mi alzo a renderti grazieper i tuoi giusti giudizi.	62 At midnight I rise to praise you because your edicts are just.
63 Sono amico di coloro che ti temonoe osservano i tuoi precetti.	63 I am the friend of all who fear you, of all who keep your precepts.
64 Del tuo amore, Signore, è piena la terra;insegnami i tuoi decreti.	64 The earth, LORD, is filled with your love; teach me your laws.
65 (Tet) Hai fatto del bene al tuo servo,secondo la tua parola, Signore.	65 You have treated your servant well, according to your word, O LORD.
66 Insegnami il gusto del bene e la conoscenza,perché ho fiducia nei tuoi comandi.	66 Teach me wisdom and knowledge, for in your commands I trust.
67 Prima di essere umiliato andavo errando,ma ora osservo la tua promessa.	67 Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I hold to your promise.
68 Tu sei buono e fai il bene:insegnami i tuoi decreti.	68 You are good and do what is good; teach me your laws.
69 Gli orgogliosi mi hanno coperto di menzogne,ma io con tutto il cuore custodisco i tuoi precetti.	69 The arrogant smear me with lies, but I observe your precepts with all my heart.
70 Insensibile come il grasso è il loro cuore:nella tua legge io trovo la mia delizia.	70 Their hearts are gross and fat; as for me, your teaching is my delight.
71 Bene per me se sono stato umiliato,perché impari i tuoi decreti.	71 It was good for me to be afflicted, in order to learn your laws.
72 Bene per me è la legge della tua bocca,più di mille pezzi d’oro e d’argento.	72 Teaching from your lips is more precious to me than heaps of silver and gold.
73 (Iod) Le tue mani mi hanno fatto e plasmato:fammi capire e imparerò i tuoi comandi.	73 Your hands made me and fashioned me; give me insight to learn your commands.
74 Quelli che ti temono al vedermi avranno gioia,perché spero nella tua parola.	74 Those who fear you rejoice to see me, because I hope in your word.
75 Signore, io so che i tuoi giudizi sono giustie con ragione mi hai umiliato.	75 I know, LORD, that your edicts are just; though you afflict me, you are faithful.
76 Il tuo amore sia la mia consolazione,secondo la promessa fatta al tuo servo.	76 May your love comfort me in accord with your promise to your servant.
77 Venga a me la tua misericordia e io avrò vita,perché la tua legge è la mia delizia.	77 Show me compassion that I may live, for your teaching is my delight.
78 Si vergognino gli orgogliosi che mi opprimono con menzogne:io mediterò i tuoi precetti.	78 Shame the proud for oppressing me unjustly, that I may study your precepts.
79 Si volgano a me quelli che ti temonoe che conoscono i tuoi insegnamenti.	79 Let those who fear you turn to me, those who acknowledge your decrees.
80 Sia integro il mio cuore nei tuoi decreti,perché non debba vergognarmi.	80 May I be wholehearted toward your laws, that I may not be put to shame.
81 (Caf) Mi consumo nell’attesa della tua salvezza,spero nella tua parola.	81 My soul longs for your salvation; I put my hope in your word.
82 Si consumano i miei occhi per la tua promessa,dicendo: «Quando mi darai conforto?».	82 My eyes long to see your promise. When will you comfort me?
83 Io sono come un otre esposto al fumo,non dimentico i tuoi decreti.	83 I am like a wineskin shriveled by smoke, but I have not forgotten your laws.
84 Quanti saranno i giorni del tuo servo?Quando terrai il giudizio contro i miei persecutori?	84 How long can your servant survive? When will your edict doom my foes?
85 Mi hanno scavato fosse gli orgogliosi,che non seguono la tua legge.	85 The arrogant have dug pits for me; defying your teaching.
86 Fedeli sono tutti i tuoi comandi.A torto mi perseguitano: vieni in mio aiuto!	86 All your commands are steadfast. Help me! I am pursued without cause.
87 Per poco non mi hanno fatto sparire dalla terra,ma io non ho abbandonato i tuoi precetti.	87 They have almost ended my life on earth, but I do not forsake your precepts.
88 Secondo il tuo amore fammi viveree osserverò l’insegnamento della tua bocca.	88 In your kindness give me life, to keep the decrees you have spoken.
89 (Lamed) Per sempre, o Signore,la tua parola è stabile nei cieli.	89 Your word, LORD, stands forever; it is firm as the heavens.
90 La tua fedeltà di generazione in generazione;hai fondato la terra ed essa è salda.	90 Through all generations your truth endures; fixed to stand firm like the earth.
91 Per i tuoi giudizi tutto è stabile fino ad oggi,perché ogni cosa è al tuo servizio.	91 By your edicts they stand firm to this day, for all things are your servants.
92 Se la tua legge non fosse la mia delizia,davvero morirei nella mia miseria.	92 Had your teaching not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.
93 Mai dimenticherò i tuoi precetti,perché con essi tu mi fai vivere.	93 I will never forget your precepts; through them you give me life.
94 Io sono tuo: salvami,perché ho ricercato i tuoi precetti.	94 I am yours; save me, for I cherish your precepts.
95 I malvagi sperano di rovinarmi;io presto attenzione ai tuoi insegnamenti.	95 The wicked hope to destroy me, but I pay heed to your decrees.
96 Di ogni cosa perfetta ho visto il confine:l’ampiezza dei tuoi comandi è infinita.	96 I have seen the limits of all perfection, but your command is without bounds.
97 (Mem) Quanto amo la tua legge!La medito tutto il giorno.	97 How I love your teaching, Lord! I study it all day long.
98 Il tuo comando mi fa più saggio dei miei nemici,perché esso è sempre con me.	98 Your command makes me wiser than my foes, for it is always with me.
99 Sono più saggio di tutti i miei maestri,perché medito i tuoi insegnamenti.	99 I have more understanding than all my teachers, because I ponder your decrees.
100 Ho più intelligenza degli anziani,perché custodisco i tuoi precetti.	100 I have more insight than my elders, because I observe your precepts.
101 Tengo lontani i miei piedi da ogni cattivo sentiero,per osservare la tua parola.	101 I keep my steps from every evil path, that I may obey your word.
102 Non mi allontano dai tuoi giudizi,perché sei tu a istruirmi.	102 From your edicts I do not turn, for you have taught them to me.
103 Quanto sono dolci al mio palato le tue promesse,più del miele per la mia bocca.	103 How sweet to my tongue is your promise, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 I tuoi precetti mi danno intelligenza,perciò odio ogni falso sentiero.	104 Through your precepts I gain insight; therefore I hate all false ways.
105 (Nun) Lampada per i miei passi è la tua parola,luce sul mio cammino.	105 Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light for my path.
106 Ho giurato, e lo confermo,di osservare i tuoi giusti giudizi.	106 I make a solemn vow to keep your just edicts.
107 Sono tanto umiliato, Signore:dammi vita secondo la tua parola.	107 I am very much afflicted, LORD; give me life in accord with your word.
108 Signore, gradisci le offerte delle mie labbra,insegnami i tuoi giudizi.	108 Accept my freely offered praise; LORD, teach me your decrees.
109 La mia vita è sempre in pericolo,ma non dimentico la tua legge.	109 My life is always at risk, but I do not forget your teaching.
110 I malvagi mi hanno teso un tranello,ma io non ho deviato dai tuoi precetti.	110 The wicked have set snares for me, but from your precepts I do not stray.
111 Mia eredità per sempre sono i tuoi insegnamenti,perché sono essi la gioia del mio cuore.	111 Your decrees are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.
112 Ho piegato il mio cuore a compiere i tuoi decreti,in eterno, senza fine.	112 My heart is set on fulfilling your laws; they are my reward forever.

116 Sostienimi secondo la tua promessa e avrò vita,non deludere la mia speranza.	116 Sustain me by your promise that I may live; do not disappoint me in my hope.
117 Aiutami e sarò salvo,non perderò mai di vista i tuoi decreti.	117 Strengthen me that I may be safe, ever to contemplate your laws.
118 Tu disprezzi chi abbandona i tuoi decreti,perché menzogne sono i suoi pensieri.	118 You reject all who stray from your laws, for vain is their deceit.
119 Tu consideri scorie tutti i malvagi della terra,perciò amo i tuoi insegnamenti.	119 Like dross you regard all the wicked on earth; therefore I love your decrees.
120 Per paura di te la mia pelle rabbrividisce:io temo i tuoi giudizi.	120 My flesh shudders with dread of you; I hold your edicts in awe.
121 (Ain) Ho agito secondo giudizio e giustizia;non abbandonarmi ai miei oppressori.	121 I have fulfilled your just edict; do not abandon me to my oppressors.
122 Assicura il bene al tuo servo;non mi opprimano gli orgogliosi.	122 Guarantee your servant's welfare; do not let the arrogant oppress me.
123 I miei occhi si consumano nell’attesa della tua salvezzae per la promessa della tua giustizia.	123 My eyes long to see your salvation and the justice of your promise.
124 Agisci con il tuo servo secondo il tuo amoree insegnami i tuoi decreti.	124 Act with kindness toward your servant; teach me your laws.
125 Io sono tuo servo: fammi comprenderee conoscerò i tuoi insegnamenti.	125 I am your servant; give me discernment that I may know your decrees.
126 È tempo che tu agisca, Signore:hanno infranto la tua legge.	126 It is time for the LORD to act; they have disobeyed your teaching.
127 Perciò amo i tuoi comandi,più dell’oro, dell’oro più fino.	127 Truly I love your commands more than the finest gold.
128 Per questo io considero retti tutti i tuoi precettie odio ogni falso sentiero.	128 Thus I follow all your precepts; every wrong way I hate.
129 (Pe) Meravigliosi sono i tuoi insegnamenti:per questo li custodisco.	129 Wonderful are your decrees; therefore I observe them.
130 La rivelazione delle tue parole illumina,dona intelligenza ai semplici.	130 The revelation of your words sheds light, gives understanding to the simple.
131 Apro anelante la mia bocca,perché ho sete dei tuoi comandi.	131 I sigh with open mouth, yearning for your commands.
132 Volgiti a me e abbi pietà,con il giudizio che riservi a chi ama il tuo nome.	132 Turn to me and be gracious, your edict for lovers of your name.
133 Rendi saldi i miei passi secondo la tua promessae non permettere che mi domini alcun male.	133 Steady my feet in accord with your promise; do not let iniquity lead me.
134 Riscattami dall’oppressione dell’uomoe osserverò i tuoi precetti.	134 Free me from human oppression, that I may keep your precepts.
135 Fa’ risplendere il tuo volto sul tuo servoe insegnami i tuoi decreti.	135 Let your face shine upon your servant; teach me your laws.
136 Torrenti di lacrime scorrono dai miei occhi,perché non si osserva la tua legge.	136 My eyes shed streams of tears because your teaching is not followed.
137 (Sade) Tu sei giusto, Signore,e retto nei tuoi giudizi.	137 You are righteous, LORD, and just are your edicts.
138 Con giustizia hai promulgato i tuoi insegnamentie con grande fedeltà.	138 You have issued your decrees in justice and in surpassing faithfulness.
139 Uno zelo ardente mi consuma,perché i miei avversari dimenticano le tue parole.	139 I am consumed with rage, because my foes forget your words.
140 Limpida e pura è la tua promessae il tuo servo la ama.	140 Your servant loves your promise; it has been proved by fire.
141 Io sono piccolo e disprezzato:non dimentico i tuoi precetti.	141 Though belittled and despised, I do not forget your precepts.
142 La tua giustizia è giustizia eternae la tua legge è verità.	142 Your justice is forever right, your teaching forever true.
143 Angoscia e affanno mi hanno colto:i tuoi comandi sono la mia delizia.	143 Though distress and anguish come upon me, your commands are my delight.
144 Giustizia eterna sono i tuoi insegnamenti:fammi comprendere e avrò la vita.	144 Your decrees are forever just; give me discernment that I may live.

150 Si avvicinano quelli che seguono il male:sono lontani dalla tua legge.	150 Malicious persecutors draw near me; they are far from your teaching.
151 Tu, Signore, sei vicino;tutti i tuoi comandi sono verità.	151 You are near, O LORD; reliable are all your commands.
152 Da tempo lo so: i tuoi insegnamentili hai stabiliti per sempre.	152 Long have I known from your decrees that you have established them forever.
153 (Res) Vedi la mia miseria e liberami,perché non ho dimenticato la tua legge.	153 Look at my affliction and rescue me, for I have not forgotten your teaching.

155 Lontana dai malvagi è la salvezza,perché essi non ricercano i tuoi decreti.	155 Salvation is far from sinners because they do not cherish your laws.

157 Molti mi perseguitano e mi affliggono,ma io non abbandono i tuoi insegnamenti.	157 Though my persecutors and foes are many I do not turn from your decrees.
158 Ho visto i traditori e ne ho provato ribrezzo,perché non osservano la tua promessa.	158 I view the faithless with loathing, because they do not heed your promise.
159 Vedi che io amo i tuoi precetti:Signore, secondo il tuo amore dammi vita.	159 See how I love your precepts, LORD; in your kindness give me life.
160 La verità è fondamento della tua parola,ogni tuo giusto giudizio dura in eterno.	160 Your every word is enduring; all your just edicts are forever.
161 (Sin) I potenti mi perseguitano senza motivo,ma il mio cuore teme solo le tue parole.	161 Princes persecute me without reason, but my heart reveres only your word.
162 Io gioisco per la tua promessa,come chi trova un grande bottino.	162 I rejoice at your promise, as one who has found rich spoil.
163 Odio la menzogna e la detesto,amo la tua legge.	163 Falsehood I hate and abhor; your teaching I love.
164 Sette volte al giorno io ti lodo,per i tuoi giusti giudizi.	164 Seven times a day I praise you because your edicts are just.
165 Grande pace per chi ama la tua legge:nel suo cammino non trova inciampo.	165 Lovers of your teaching have much peace; for them there is no stumbling block.
166 Aspetto da te la salvezza, Signore,e metto in pratica i tuoi comandi.	166 I look for your salvation, LORD, and I fulfill your commands.
167 Io osservo i tuoi insegnamentie li amo intensamente.	167 I observe your decrees; I love them very much.
168 Osservo i tuoi precetti e i tuoi insegnamenti:davanti a te sono tutte le mie vie.	168 I observe your precepts and decrees; all my ways are before you.
