NOVA VULGATA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Magistro chori. Fidibus. David.	1 [For the choirmaster For strings Of David] God, hear my cry, listen to my prayer.
2 Exaudi, Deus, deprecationem meam, intende orationi meae.	2 From the end of the earth I cal to you with fainting heart. Lead me to the high rock that stands far outof my reach.
3 A finibus terrae ad te clamavi, dum anxiaretur cor meum. In petram inaccessam mihi deduc me!	3 For you are my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy.
4 Quia factus es spes mea, turris fortitudinis a facie inimici.	4 Let me stay in your tent for ever, taking refuge in the shelter of your wings!
5 Inhabitabo in tabernaculo tuo in saecula, protegar in velamento alarum tuarum,	5 For you, God, accept my vows, you grant me the heritage of those who fear your name.
6 quoniam tu, Deus meus, exaudisti vota mea, dedisti hereditatem timentium nomen tuum.	6 Let the king live on and on, let his years continue age after age.
7 Dies super dies regis adicies, annos eius usque in diem generationis et generationis.	7 May his throne be always in God's presence, your faithful love and constancy watch over him.
8 Sedeat in aeternum in conspectu Dei; misericordia et veritas servent eum.	8 Then I shal always sing to your name, day after day fulfilling my vows.
9 Sic psalmum dicam nomini tuo in saeculum saeculi, ut reddam vota mea de die in diem.
