NOVA VULGATA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 ALLELUIA. Laudate Dominum de caelis, laudate eum in excelsis.	1 Al eluia! Praise Yahweh from the heavens, praise him in the heights.
2 Laudate eum, omnes angeli eius, laudate eum, omnes virtutes eius.	2 Praise him, all his angels, praise him, al his host!
3 Laudate eum, sol et luna, laudate eum, omnes stellae lucentes.	3 Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, al shining stars,
4 Laudate eum, caeli caelorum et aquae omnes, quae super caelos sunt. -	4 praise him, highest heavens, praise him, waters above the heavens.
5 Laudent nomen Domini, quia ipse mandavit, et creata sunt;	5 Let them praise the name of Yahweh at whose command they were made;
6 statuit ea in aeternum et in saeculum saeculi; praeceptum posuit, et non praeteribit.	6 he established them for ever and ever by an unchanging decree.
7 Laudate Dominum de terra, dracones et omnes abyssi,	7 Praise Yahweh from the earth, sea-monsters and all the depths,
8 ignis, grando, nix, fumus, spiritus procellarum, qui facit verbum eius,	8 fire and hail, snow and mist, storm-winds that obey his word,
9 montes et omnes colles, ligna fructifera et omnes cedri,	9 mountains and every hill, orchards and every cedar,
10 bestiae et universa pecora, serpentes et volucres pennatae.	10 wild animals and al cattle, reptiles and winged birds,
11 Reges terrae et omnes populi, principes et omnes iudices terrae,	11 kings of the earth and al nations, princes and all judges on earth,
12 iuvenes et virgines, senes cum iunioribus	12 young men and girls, old people and children together.
13 laudent nomen Domini, quia exaltatum est nomen eius solius. Magnificentia eius super caelum et terram,	13 Let them praise the name of Yahweh, for his name alone is sublime, his splendour transcends earthand heaven.
14 et exaltavit cornu populi sui. Hymnus omnibus sanctis eius, filiis Israel, populo, qui propinquus est ei. ALLELUIA.	14 For he heightens the strength of his people, to the praise of al his faithful, the children of Israel, thepeople close to him.
