2 Pietà di me, pietà di me, o Dio,in te si rifugia l’anima mia;all’ombra delle tue ali mi rifugiofinché l’insidia sia passata.	2 Have mercy on me, God, have mercy on me. In you I seek shelter. In the shadow of your wings I seek shelter till harm pass by.
3 Invocherò Dio, l’Altissimo,Dio che fa tutto per me.	3 I call to God Most High, to God who provides for me.
4 Mandi dal cielo a salvarmi,confonda chi vuole inghiottirmi;Dio mandi il suo amore e la sua fedeltà.	4 May God send help from heaven to save me, shame those who trample upon me. May God send fidelity and love. Selah
5 In mezzo a leoni devo coricarmi,infiammàti di rabbia contro gli uomini!I loro denti sono lance e frecce,la loro lingua è spada affilata.	5 I must lie down in the midst of lions hungry for human prey. Their teeth are spears and arrows; their tongue, a sharpened sword.
6 Innàlzati sopra il cielo, o Dio,su tutta la terra la tua gloria.	6 Show yourself over the heavens, God; may your glory appear above all the earth.
7 Hanno teso una rete ai miei piedi,hanno piegato il mio collo,hanno scavato davanti a me una fossa,ma dentro vi sono caduti.	7 They have set a trap for my feet; my soul is bowed down; They have dug a pit before me. May they fall into it themselves! Selah
8 Saldo è il mio cuore, o Dio,saldo è il mio cuore.Voglio cantare, voglio inneggiare:	8 My heart is steadfast, God, my heart is steadfast. I will sing and chant praise.
9 svégliati, mio cuore,svegliatevi, arpa e cetra,voglio svegliare l’aurora.	9 Awake, my soul; awake, lyre and harp! I will wake the dawn.
10 Ti loderò fra i popoli, Signore,a te canterò inni fra le nazioni:	10 I will praise you among the peoples, Lord; I will chant your praise among the nations.
