1 (113,9) Non a noi, Signore, non a noi,ma al tuo nome da’ gloria,per il tuo amore, per la tua fedeltà.	1 Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give the glory, for your faithful love and yourconstancy!
2 (113,10) Perché le genti dovrebbero dire:«Dov’è il loro Dio?».	2 Why should the nations ask, 'Where is their God?'
3 (113,11) Il nostro Dio è nei cieli:tutto ciò che vuole, egli lo compie.	3 Our God is in heaven, he creates whatever he chooses.
4 (113,12) I loro idoli sono argento e oro,opera delle mani dell’uomo.	4 They have idols of silver and gold, made by human hands.
5 (113,13) Hanno bocca e non parlano,hanno occhi e non vedono,	5 These have mouths but say nothing, have eyes but see nothing,
6 (113,14) hanno orecchi e non odono,hanno narici e non odorano.	6 have ears but hear nothing, have noses but smel nothing.
7 (113,15) Le loro mani non palpano,i loro piedi non camminano;dalla loro gola non escono suoni!	7 They have hands but cannot feel, have feet but cannot walk, no sound comes from their throats.
8 (113,16) Diventi come loro chi li fabbricae chiunque in essi confida!	8 Their makers wil end up like them, and al who rely on them.
9 (113,17) Israele, confida nel Signore:egli è loro aiuto e loro scudo.	9 House of Israel, rely on Yahweh; he is their help and their shield.
10 (113,18) Casa di Aronne, confida nel Signore:egli è loro aiuto e loro scudo.	10 House of Aaron, rely on Yahweh; he is their help and their shield.
11 (113,19) Voi che temete il Signore, confidate nel Signore:egli è loro aiuto e loro scudo.	11 You who fear Yahweh, rely on Yahweh; he is their help and their shield.
12 (113,20) Il Signore si ricorda di noi, ci benedice:benedice la casa d’Israele,benedice la casa di Aronne.	12 Yahweh wil keep us in mind, he will bless, he wil bless the House of Israel, he wil bless the Houseof Aaron,
13 (113,21) Benedice quelli che temono il Signore,i piccoli e i grandi.	13 he wil bless those who fear Yahweh, small and great alike.
14 (113,22) Vi renda numerosi il Signore,voi e i vostri figli.	14 May Yahweh add to your numbers, yours and your children's too!
15 (113,23) Siate benedetti dal Signore,che ha fatto cielo e terra.	15 May you be blessed by Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.
16 (113,24) I cieli sono i cieli del Signore,ma la terra l’ha data ai figli dell’uomo.	16 Heaven belongs to Yahweh, but earth he has given to the children of Adam.
17 (113,25) Non i morti lodano il Signorené quelli che scendono nel silenzio,	17 The dead cannot praise Yahweh, those who sink into silence,
18 (113,26) ma noi benediciamo il Signoreda ora e per sempre.Alleluia.	18 but we, the living, shal bless Yahweh, henceforth and for ever.
