1 Salmo. Di Asaf.Parla il Signore, Dio degli dèi,convoca la terra da oriente a occidente.	1 The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
2 Da Sion, bellezza perfetta,Dio risplende.	2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.
3 Viene il nostro Dio e non sta in silenzio;davanti a lui un fuoco divorante,intorno a lui si scatena la tempesta.	3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
4 Convoca il cielo dall’altoe la terra per giudicare il suo popolo:	4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
5 «Davanti a me riunite i miei fedeli,che hanno stabilito con me l’alleanzaoffrendo un sacrificio».	5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
6 I cieli annunciano la sua giustizia:è Dio che giudica.	6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.
7 «Ascolta, popolo mio, voglio parlare,testimonierò contro di te, Israele!Io sono Dio, il tuo Dio!	7 Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.
8 Non ti rimprovero per i tuoi sacrifici,i tuoi olocausti mi stanno sempre davanti.	8 I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.
9 Non prenderò vitelli dalla tua casané capri dai tuoi ovili.	9 I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.
10 Sono mie tutte le bestie della foresta,animali a migliaia sui monti.	10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
11 Conosco tutti gli uccelli del cielo,è mio ciò che si muove nella campagna.	11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
12 Se avessi fame, non te lo direi:mio è il mondo e quanto contiene.	12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
13 Mangerò forse la carne dei tori?Berrò forse il sangue dei capri?	13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
14 Offri a Dio come sacrificio la lodee sciogli all’Altissimo i tuoi voti;	14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:
15 invocami nel giorno dell’angoscia:ti libererò e tu mi darai gloria».	15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
16 Al malvagio Dio dice:«Perché vai ripetendo i miei decretie hai sempre in bocca la mia alleanza,	16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
17 tu che hai in odio la disciplinae le mie parole ti getti alle spalle?	17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.
18 Se vedi un ladro, corri con luie degli adùlteri ti fai compagno.	18 When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.
19 Abbandoni la tua bocca al malee la tua lingua trama inganni.	19 Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
20 Ti siedi, parli contro il tuo fratello,getti fango contro il figlio di tua madre.	20 Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.
21 Hai fatto questo e io dovrei tacere?Forse credevi che io fossi come te!Ti rimprovero: pongo davanti a te la mia accusa.	21 These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.
22 Capite questo, voi che dimenticate Dio,perché non vi afferri per sbranarvie nessuno vi salvi.	22 Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
23 Chi offre la lode in sacrificio, questi mi onora;a chi cammina per la retta viamostrerò la salvezza di Dio».	23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
