1 Alleluia.(Alef) Beato l’uomo che teme il Signore(Bet) e nei suoi precetti trova grande gioia.	1 Al eluia! How blessed is anyone who fears Yahweh, who delights in his commandments!
2 (Ghimel) Potente sulla terra sarà la sua stirpe,(Dalet) la discendenza degli uomini retti sarà benedetta.	2 His descendants shal be powerful on earth, the race of the honest shal receive blessings:
3 (He) Prosperità e ricchezza nella sua casa,(Vau) la sua giustizia rimane per sempre.	3 Riches and wealth for his family; his uprightness stands firm for ever.
4 (Zain) Spunta nelle tenebre, luce per gli uomini retti:(Het) misericordioso, pietoso e giusto.	4 For the honest he shines as a lamp in the dark, generous, tender-hearted, and upright.
5 (Tet) Felice l’uomo pietoso che dà in prestito,(Iod) amministra i suoi beni con giustizia.	5 Al goes wel for one who lends generously, who is honest in al his dealing;
6 (Caf) Egli non vacillerà in eterno:(Lamed) eterno sarà il ricordo del giusto.	6 for al time to come he wil not stumble, for al time to come the upright wil be remembered.
7 (Mem) Cattive notizie non avrà da temere,(Nun) saldo è il suo cuore, confida nel Signore.	7 Bad news holds no fears for him, firm is his heart, trusting in Yahweh.
8 (Samec) 8 Sicuro è il suo cuore, non teme,(Ain) finché non vedrà la rovina dei suoi nemici.	8 His heart held steady, he has no fears, til he can gloat over his enemies.
9 (Pe) Egli dona largamente ai poveri,(Sade) la sua giustizia rimane per sempre,(Kof) la sua fronte s’innalza nella gloria.	9 To the needy he gives without stint, his uprightness stands firm for ever; his reputation is founded onstrength.
10 (Res) Il malvagio vede e va in collera,(Sin) digrigna i denti e si consuma.(Tau) Ma il desiderio dei malvagi va in rovina.	10 The wicked are vexed at the sight, they grind their teeth and waste away. The desires of the wickedwil be frustrated.
