1 Alleluia.(Alef) Beato l’uomo che teme il Signore(Bet) e nei suoi precetti trova grande gioia.	1 Hallelujah! Happy are those who fear the LORD, who greatly delight in God's commands.
2 (Ghimel) Potente sulla terra sarà la sua stirpe,(Dalet) la discendenza degli uomini retti sarà benedetta.	2 Their descendants shall be mighty in the land, generation upright and blessed.
3 (He) Prosperità e ricchezza nella sua casa,(Vau) la sua giustizia rimane per sempre.	3 Wealth and riches shall be in their homes; their prosperity shall endure forever.
4 (Zain) Spunta nelle tenebre, luce per gli uomini retti:(Het) misericordioso, pietoso e giusto.	4 They shine through the darkness, a light for the upright; they are gracious, merciful, and just.
5 (Tet) Felice l’uomo pietoso che dà in prestito,(Iod) amministra i suoi beni con giustizia.	5 All goes well for those gracious in lending, who conduct their affairs with justice.
6 (Caf) Egli non vacillerà in eterno:(Lamed) eterno sarà il ricordo del giusto.	6 They shall never be shaken; the just shall be remembered forever.
7 (Mem) Cattive notizie non avrà da temere,(Nun) saldo è il suo cuore, confida nel Signore.	7 They shall not fear an ill report; their hearts are steadfast, trusting the LORD.
8 (Samec) 8 Sicuro è il suo cuore, non teme,(Ain) finché non vedrà la rovina dei suoi nemici.	8 Their hearts are tranquil, without fear, till at last they look down on their foes.
9 (Pe) Egli dona largamente ai poveri,(Sade) la sua giustizia rimane per sempre,(Kof) la sua fronte s’innalza nella gloria.	9 Lavishly they give to the poor; their prosperity shall endure forever; their horn shall be exalted in honor.
10 (Res) Il malvagio vede e va in collera,(Sin) digrigna i denti e si consuma.(Tau) Ma il desiderio dei malvagi va in rovina.	10 The wicked shall be angry to see this; they will gnash their teeth and waste away; the desires of the wicked come to nothing.
