2 Signore, ascolta la mia voce.Siano i tuoi orecchi attentialla voce della mia supplica.	2 Lord, hear my cry! May your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
3 Se consideri le colpe, Signore,Signore, chi ti può resistere?	3 If you, LORD, mark our sins, Lord, who can stand?
4 Ma con te è il perdono:così avremo il tuo timore.	4 But with you is forgiveness and so you are revered.
5 Io spero, Signore.Spera l’anima mia,attendo la sua parola.	5 I wait with longing for the LORD, my soul waits for his word.
