1 Canto delle salite.Quando il Signore ristabilì la sorte di Sion,ci sembrava di sognare.	1 When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
2 Allora la nostra bocca si riempì di sorriso,la nostra lingua di gioia.Allora si diceva tra le genti:«Il Signore ha fatto grandi cose per loro».	2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.
3 Grandi cose ha fatto il Signore per noi:eravamo pieni di gioia.	3 The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
4 Ristabilisci, Signore, la nostra sorte,come i torrenti del Negheb.	4 Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.
5 Chi semina nelle lacrimemieterà nella gioia.	5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6 Nell’andare, se ne va piangendo,portando la semente da gettare,ma nel tornare, viene con gioia,portando i suoi covoni.	6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
