Salmi 27

NOVA VULGATA	CATHOLIC PUBLIC DOMAIN
1 David. Dominus illuminatio mea et salus mea; quem timebo? Dominus protector vitae meae; a quo trepidabo?	1 A Psalm of David himself. To you, Lord, I will cry out. My God, do not be silent toward me. For if you remain silent toward me, I will become like those who descend into the pit.
2 Dum appropiant super me nocentes, ut edant carnes meas; qui tribulant me et inimici mei, ipsi infirmati sunt et ceciderunt.	2 Hear, O Lord, the voice of my supplication, when I pray to you, when I lift up my hands toward your holy temple.
3 Si consistant adversum me castra, non timebit cor meum; si exsurgat adversum me proelium, in hoc ego sperabo.	3 Do not draw me away together with sinners; and let me not perish with those who work iniquity, who speak peacefully to their neighbor, yet evils are in their hearts.
4 Unum petii a Domino, hoc requiram: ut inhabitem in domo Domini omnibus diebus vitae meae, ut videam voluptatem Domini et visitem templum eius.	4 Give to them according to their works and according to the wickedness of their inventions. Assign to them according to the works of their hands. Repay them with their own retribution.
5 Quoniam occultabit me in tentorio suo in die malorum. Abscondet me in abscondito tabernaculi sui, in petra exaltabit me.	5 Since they have not understood the works of the Lord and the works of his hands, you will destroy them, and you will not build them up.
6 Et nunc exaltatur caput meum super inimicos meos in circuitu meo. Immolabo in tabernaculo eius hostias vociferationis, cantabo et psalmum dicam Domino.	6 Blessed is the Lord, for he has heard the voice of my supplication.
7 Exaudi, Domine, vocem meam, qua clamavi; miserere mei et exaudi me.	7 The Lord is my helper and my protector. In him, my heart has hoped and I have been helped. And my flesh has flourished again. And from my will, I shall confess to him.
8 De te dixit cor meum: “ Exquirite faciem meam! ”. Faciem tuam, Domine, exquiram.	8 The Lord is the strength of his people and the protector of the salvation of his Christ.
9 Ne avertas faciem tuam a me, ne declines in ira a servo tuo. Adiutor meus es tu, ne me reicias neque derelinquas me, Deus salutis meae.	9 O Lord, save your people and bless your inheritance, and reign over them and exalt them, even unto eternity.
10 Quoniam pater meus et mater mea dereliquerunt me, Dominus autem assumpsit me.
11 Ostende mihi, Domine, viam tuam et dirige me in semitam rectam propter inimicos meos.
12 Ne tradideris me in animam tribulantium me, quoniam insurrexerunt in me testes iniqui, et qui violentiam spirant.
13 Credo videre bona Domini in terra viventium.
14 Exspecta Dominum, viriliter age, et confortetur cor tuum, et sustine Dominum.
