NOVA VULGATA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Canticum ascensionum. Beatus omnis, qui timet Dominum, qui ambulat in viis eius.	1 [Song of Ascents] How blessed are al who fear Yahweh, who walk in his ways!
2 Labores manuum tuarum manducabis, beatus es, et bene tibi erit.	2 Your own labours wil yield you a living, happy and prosperous will you be.
3 Uxor tua sicut vitis fructifera in lateribus domus tuae; filii tui sicut novellae olivarum in circuitu mensae tuae.	3 Your wife a fruitful vine in the inner places of your house. Your children round your table like shootsof an olive tree.
4 Ecce sic benedicetur homo, qui timet Dominum.	4 Such are the blessings that fal on those who fear Yahweh.
5 Benedicat tibi Dominus ex Sion, et videas bona Ierusalem omnibus diebus vitae tuae;	5 May Yahweh bless you from Zion! May you see Jerusalem prosper al the days of your life,
6 et videas filios filiorum tuorum. Pax super Israel!	6 and live to see your children's children! Peace to Israel!
