1 Alleluia.Lodate il nome del Signore,lodatelo, servi del Signore,	1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD.
2 voi che state nella casa del Signore,negli atri della casa del nostro Dio.	2 Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,
3 Lodate il Signore, perché il Signore è buono;cantate inni al suo nome, perché è amabile.	3 Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
4 Il Signore si è scelto Giacobbe,Israele come sua proprietà.	4 For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.
5 Sì, riconosco che il Signore è grande,il Signore nostro più di tutti gli dèi.	5 For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
6 Tutto ciò che vuoleil Signore lo compie in cielo e sulla terra,nei mari e in tutti gli abissi.	6 Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
7 Fa salire le nubi dall’estremità della terra,produce le folgori per la pioggia,dalle sue riserve libera il vento.	7 He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.
8 Egli colpì i primogeniti d’Egitto,dagli uomini fino al bestiame.	8 Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
9 Mandò segni e prodigiin mezzo a te, Egitto,contro il faraone e tutti i suoi ministri.	9 Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
10 Colpì numerose nazionie uccise sovrani potenti:	10 Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;
11 Sicon, re degli Amorrei,Og, re di Basan,e tutti i regni di Canaan.	11 Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
12 Diede in eredità la loro terra,in eredità a Israele suo popolo.	12 And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.
13 Signore, il tuo nome è per sempre;Signore, il tuo ricordo di generazione in generazione.	13 Thy name, O LORD, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.
14 Sì, il Signore fa giustizia al suo popoloe dei suoi servi ha compassione.	14 For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.
15 Gli idoli delle nazioni sono argento e oro,opera delle mani dell’uomo.	15 The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
16 Hanno bocca e non parlano,hanno occhi e non vedono,	16 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
17 hanno orecchi e non odono;no, non c’è respiro nella loro bocca.	17 They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.
18 Diventi come loro chi li fabbricae chiunque in essi confida.	18 They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.
19 Benedici il Signore, casa d’Israele;benedici il Signore, casa di Aronne;	19 Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:
20 benedici il Signore, casa di Levi;voi che temete il Signore, benedite il Signore.	20 Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.
21 Da Sion, benedetto il Signore,che abita in Gerusalemme!Alleluia.	21 Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
