1 Alleluia.Lodate, servi del Signore,lodate il nome del Signore.	1 Al eluia! Praise, servants of Yahweh, praise the name of Yahweh.
2 Sia benedetto il nome del Signore,da ora e per sempre.	2 Blessed be the name of Yahweh, henceforth and for ever.
3 Dal sorgere del sole al suo tramontosia lodato il nome del Signore.	3 From the rising of the sun to its setting, praised be the name of Yahweh!
4 Su tutte le genti eccelso è il Signore,più alta dei cieli è la sua gloria.	4 Supreme over al nations is Yahweh, supreme over the heavens his glory.
5 Chi è come il Signore, nostro Dio,che siede nell’alto	5 Who is like Yahweh our God? His throne is set on high,
6 e si china a guardaresui cieli e sulla terra?	6 but he stoops to look down on heaven and earth.
7 Solleva dalla polvere il debole,dall’immondizia rialza il povero,	7 He raises the poor from the dust, he lifts the needy from the dunghill,
8 per farlo sedere tra i prìncipi,tra i prìncipi del suo popolo.	8 to give them a place among princes, among princes of his people.
9 Fa abitare nella casa la sterile,come madre gioiosa di figli.Alleluia.	9 He lets the barren woman be seated at home, the happy mother of sons.
