Salmi 43

NOVA VULGATA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Iudica me, Deus, et discerne causam meam de gente non sancta; ab homine iniquo et doloso erue me.	1 Judge me, God, defend my cause against a people who have no faithful love; from those who aretreacherous and unjust, rescue me.
2 Quia tu es Deus refugii mei; quare me reppulisti, et quare tristis incedo, dum affligit me inimicus?	2 For you are the God of my strength; why abandon me? Why must I go around in mourning, harrassedby the enemy?
3 Emitte lucem tuam et veritatem tuam; ipsae me deducant et adducant in montem sanctum tuum et in tabernacula tua.	3 Send out your light and your truth; they shal be my guide, to lead me to your holy mountain to theplace where you dwell.
4 Et introibo ad altare Dei, ad Deum laetitiae exsultationis meae. Confitebor tibi in cithara, Deus, Deus meus.	4 Then I shal go to the altar of God, to the God of my joy. I wil rejoice and praise you on the harp, OGod, my God.
5 Quare tristis es, anima mea, et quare conturbaris in me? Spera in Deo, quoniam adhuc confitebor illi, salutare vultus mei et Deus meus.	5 Why so downcast, why all these sighs? Hope in God! I will praise him stil , my Saviour, my God.
