BIBBIA MARTINI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Manda, o Signore, l'Agnello dominatore della terra, dalla pietra del deserto al monte della figliuola di Sion.	1 Send the lamb to the ruler of the land, from Sela by the desert, to the mountain of the daughter of Zion,
2 E saranno le figlie di Moab al passaggio del Arnon, come un uccello, che fugge, e come i pulcini, che volano fuori del nidio.	2 for soon, like a fluttered bird, like nestlings cast out, wil be the women of Moab at the fords of theArnon.
3 Fa consulte, aduna consigli; fa si,che la tua ombra sia di mezzo giorno come una notte, nascondi i fuggitivi, e non tradire i vagabondi.	3 Hold a council, make a decision. At noon spread your shadow as if it were night. Hide those who havebeen driven out, do not betray the fugitive,
4 Abbiano abitazione presso di te i miei fuggitivi. Sii tu, o Moab, il lor nascondiglio contro il devastatore; imperocché la polvere è finita, quel miserabile è perito, è venuto meno colui che conculcava la terra.	4 let those who have been driven out of Moab come and live with you; be their refuge in the face of thedevastator. Once the oppression is past, and the devastation has stopped and those now trampling on thecountry have gone away,
5 E sarà stabilito il trono sopra la misericordia, e sopra di esso sederà nella casa di David un giudice verace, e amante della giustizia, ed il quale farà con prontezza quello, che è giusto.	5 the throne wil be made secure in faithful love and on it wil sit in constancy within the tent of David, ajudge seeking fair judgement and pursuing uprightness.
6 Abbiam sentito parlare della superbia di Moab; egli è grandemente superbo: la sua superbia, e l'arroganza, e l'impetuosità di lui passano la sua possanza.	6 We have heard about Moab's pride, about how very proud it is, about its arrogance, its pride, its rage,its bravado, which wil come to nothing!
7 Per questo Moab urlerà contro di Moab, urleranno tutti quanti. A que', che vanno superbi per muraglie di mattoni cotti al fuoco, annunziate le loro piaghe.	7 And so Moab is wailing for Moab, wailing, every one of them. For the raisin cakes of Kir-Hareseth youmourn, stricken with grief.
8 Perocché i sobborghi di Hesebon son deserti,è stata troncata dai principi delle nazioni la vigna di Sabama, i tralci di cui son arrivati fino a Jazer, si sono aggirati pel deserto; le sue profagini, che rimanevano, son passate di là dal mare.	8 For Heshbon's vineyards are withering, the vine of Sibmah whose red grapes used to overcome theoverlords of the nations. It used to reach to Jazer, had wound its way into the desert, its shoots grew sonumerous they spread across the sea.
9 Per questo io piangerò al pianto di Jazer, piangerò la vigna di Sabama; te bagnerò io colle mie lagrime, o Hesebon, e te, o Eleala; perocché a conculcare le tue vindemmie, e le tue messi son venuti con furore, e con istrida (i nemici.)	9 And so I weep, as Jazer weeps, for the vine of Sibmah. I water you with my tears, Heshbon andElealeh. For over your harvest and vintage the cheering has died away;
10 E fuggirà la letizia, e l'esultazione dal Carmelo, e non sarà più festa, né giubilo; e colui, che soleva premere il vino nello strettoio, più noi premerà: ed ho tolte via le sue canzoni.	10 joy and gladness have vanished from the orchards. No more revelry in the vineyards, no more happyshouting; no more the treader treads wine in the presses, the cheering has ceased.
11 Per questo le mie interiora, e le mie viscere daranno suono lugubre quasi cetra sulle sciagure di Moab, e sulla rovina della muraglia di mattone cotto al fuoco.	11 That is why my whole being quivers like harp strings for Moab, my very heart, for Kir-Heres.
12 E avverrà, che quando Moab si sarà stancato ne' suoi luoghi eccelsi, anderà per orare ne' suoi santuari, e non potrà.	12 Moab will be seen, wearing itself out on the high places and going to its temple to pray, but it wilaccomplish nothing.
13 Questa è la parola, che il Signore parlò già tempo riguardo a Moab.	13 Such was the word which Yahweh spoke about Moab in the past.
14 E ora ha parlato il Signore, dicendo: In tre anni, come anni del bracciante, sarà tolta a Moab la gloria di tutto quel suo gran popolo, e pochi rimarranno, e piccoli, e non robusti.	14 And now Yahweh has spoken in these terms, 'Within three years, as a hired worker reckons them, the glory of Moab wil be humbled, despite its teeming population. It wil be reduced to nothing, an insignificantremnant.'
