Isaia 61

BIBBIA MARTINI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Lo Spirito del Signore sopra di me, perchè il Signore mi ha unto, affinchè io annunziassi a' mansueti la buona novella: mi ha mandato a curare quelli, che hanno il cuore spezzato, a predicare la franchigia agli schiavi, e a' carcerati la libertà;	1 The spirit of Lord Yahweh is on me for Yahweh has anointed me. He has sent me to bring the news tothe afflicted, to soothe the broken-hearted,
2 A predicare l'anno accettevole del Signore, e il giorno di vendetta pel nostro Dio; perchè io consolassi tutti quegli, che piangono;	2 to proclaim liberty to captives, release to those in prison, to proclaim a year of favour from Yahweh anda day of vengeance for our God, to comfort all who mourn
3 Affinchè io rendessi ai piagnenti di Sion, affinchè io dessi loro corona in luogo della cenere, olio di letizia invece delle lagrime, il manto di gloria in cambio dello spirito di tristezza, e gli abitatori di lei saran chiamati forti nella giustizia, piantazione del Signore, ond'ei sia glorificato.	3 (to give to Zion's mourners), to give them for ashes a garland, for mourning-dress, the oil of gladness,for despondency, festal attire; and they wil be cal ed 'terebinths of saving justice', planted by Yahweh to glorifyhim.
4 Ed eglino riedificheranno i luoghi da lungo tempo deserti, e le antiche rovine faran risorgere, e ristoreranno le città devastate, e rimase sole per generazioni, e generazioni.	4 They wil rebuild the ancient ruins, they wil raise what has long lain waste, they wil restore the ruinedcities, al that has lain waste for ages past.
5 E saran pronti gli stranieri, e pascoleranno le vostre gregge: e i figli de' forestieri saranno vostri lavoratori, e vignaiuoli.	5 Strangers wil come forward to feed your flocks, foreigners be your ploughmen and vinedressers;
6 E voi sarete chiamati sacerdoti del Signore: a voi sarà dato il nome di Ministri del nostro Dio: voi sarete alimentati colle ricchezze delle genti, e della gloria di queste sarete gloriosi.	6 but you will be cal ed 'priests of Yahweh' and be addressed as 'ministers of our God'. You will feed onthe wealth of nations, you wil supplant them in their glory.
7 Per la doppia confusione, e vergogna vostra renderete grazie della porzione toccata a voi: per questo nella lor terra avran parte doppia, sempiterna sarà la loro allegrezza;	7 To make up for your shame, you wil receive double; instead of disgrace, shouts of joy wil be their lot;yes, they wil have a double portion in their country and everlasting joy wil be theirs.
8 Perocché io il Signore, che amo la rettitudine, e odio la rapina conversa in olocausto: ed io farò, che le opere loro siano nella verità, e con essi stabilirò eterna alleanza.	8 For I am Yahweh: I love fair judgement, I hate robbery and wrong-doing, and I shal reward themfaithful y and make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 E sarà conosciuta tralle genti la loro semenza, e la loro stirpe in mezzo ai popoli; tutti quei, che li vedranno, li riconosceranno per esser essi quel seme, cui diè benedizione il Signore.	9 Their race wil be famous throughout the nations and their offspring throughout the peoples. All whosee them wil admit that they are a race whom Yahweh has blessed.
10 Grandemente mi rallegrerò io nel Signore, e l'anima mia esulterà nel mio Dio; perchè egli mi ha rivestita della veste di salute; e del manto di giustizia mi ha addobbata, come sposo adorno di corona, e come sposa abbellita delle sue gioie;	10 I exult for joy in Yahweh, my soul rejoices in my God, for he has clothed me in garments of salvation,he has wrapped me in a cloak of saving justice, like a bridegroom wearing his garland, like a bride adorned inher jewels.
11 Imperocché siccome la terra butta i suoi germogli, e come un giardino la semenza in esso gettata, così il Signore Dio germinar farà la giustizia, e la sua laude nel cospetto di tutte le genti.	11 For as the earth sends up its shoots and a garden makes seeds sprout, so Lord Yahweh makessaving justice and praise spring up in the sight of al nations.
