1 Il Signore regna: tremino i popoli.Siede in trono sui cherubini: si scuota la terra.	1 The LORD is king, the peoples tremble; God is enthroned on the cherubim, the earth quakes.
2 Grande è il Signore in Sion,eccelso sopra tutti i popoli.	2 The LORD is great on Zion, exalted above all the peoples.
3 Lodino il tuo nome grande e terribile.Egli è santo!	3 Let them praise your great and awesome name: Holy is God!
4 Forza del re è amare il diritto.Tu hai stabilito ciò che è retto;diritto e giustizia hai operato in Giacobbe.	4 O mighty king, lover of justice, you alone have established fairness; you have created just rule in Jacob.
5 Esaltate il Signore, nostro Dio,prostratevi allo sgabello dei suoi piedi.Egli è santo!	5 Exalt the LORD, our God; bow down before his footstool; holy is God!
6 Mosè e Aronne tra i suoi sacerdoti,Samuele tra quanti invocavano il suo nome:invocavano il Signore ed egli rispondeva.	6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel among those who called on God's name; they called on the LORD, who answered them.
7 Parlava loro da una colonna di nubi:custodivano i suoi insegnamentie il precetto che aveva loro dato.	7 From the pillar of cloud God spoke to them; they kept the decrees, the law they received.
8 Signore, nostro Dio, tu li esaudivi,eri per loro un Dio che perdona,pur castigando i loro peccati.	8 O LORD, our God, you answered them; you were a forgiving God, though you punished their offenses.
9 Esaltate il Signore, nostro Dio,prostratevi davanti alla sua santa montagna,perché santo è il Signore, nostro Dio!	9 Exalt the LORD, our God; bow down before his holy mountain; holy is the LORD, our God.
