Geremia 30

BIBBIA MARTINI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Parola detta a Geremia dal Signore, che disse:	1 The word which came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, as follows,
2 Queste cose dice il Signore, il Dio d'Israele: Scrivi tutte le parole, che io ti ho dette, in un libro;	2 'Yahweh, God of Israel, says this, "Write for yourself in a book al the words I have spoken to you.
3 Imperocché ecco che vengono i giorni, dice il Signore, ed io faro ritornare i fuorusciti del popol mio d'Israele, e di Giuda, dice il Signore, e farolli ritornare alla terra, che io diedi a' padri loro, e la possederanno.	3 For look, the days are coming, Yahweh declares, when I shal bring back the captives of my peopleIsrael (and Judah), Yahweh says. I shall make them come back and take possession of the country I gave totheir ancestors." '
4 E queste son le parole dette dal Signore ad Israele, e a Giuda:	4 These are the words Yahweh spoke about Israel (and Judah):
5 Queste cose dice il Signore: Abbiamo udito voce di terrore, di sbigottimento, e non di pace.	5 Yahweh says this: We have heard a cry of panic, of terror, not of peace.
6 Domandate, e cercate se il maschio partorisca: e perchè adunque ho io veduto tutti gli uomini colle mani a' loro fianchi a guisa di partorienti, e tutte le facce loro ingiallite?	6 Now ask and see: can a man bear children? Then why do I see each man with his hands on his loinslike a woman in labour? Why has every face grown pale?
7 Ahi che grande è quel giorno! non ve n'è altro simile, ed è il tempo della tribolazione di Giacobbe, ed egli da questa sarà salvato.	7 Disaster! This is the great day, no other like it: a time of distress for Jacob, though he will be savedfrom it.
8 E in quel giorno (dice il Signor degli eserciti) io spezzerò il giogo messo da colui sul tuo collo, e romperò i suoi lacci, e non ti domineranno più gli stranieri:	8 (That day, Yahweh Sabaoth declares, I shal break the yoke now on your neck and snap your chains;and foreigners wil enslave you no more,
9 Ma serviranno (i tuoi) al Signore Dio loro, e a Davidde loro re, che io farò sorger per essi.	9 but Israel and Judah wil serve Yahweh their God, and David their king whom I shal raise up for them.)
10 Non temere adunque tu servo mio Giacobbe, dice il Signore, e non aver paura, o Israele: imperocché ecco che io salverò te da una terra rimota, e la tua stirpe dalla terra di sua schiavitù, e tornerà Giacobbe, e avrà riposo, e sarà ricolmo di beni, e non avrà chi temere:	10 So do not be afraid, my servant Jacob, Yahweh declares, Israel, do not be alarmed: for look, I shalrescue you from distant countries and your descendants from the country where they are captive. Jacob wilreturn and be at peace, secure, with no one to trouble him.
11 Imperocché io sono con te, dice il Signore, affin di salvarti: imperocché io farò fine di tutte le genti, tralle quali io ti dispersi; ma non farò fine di te: ma ti gastigerò con giustizia, affinchè tu non sembri a te stesso innocente;	11 For I am with you to save you, Yahweh declares, I shal make an end of all the nations where I havedriven you, but I shall not make an end of you, only discipline you in moderation, not to let you go quiteunpunished.
12 Imperocché cosi dice il Signore: La tua frattura è insanabile, la tua piaga è maligna.	12 Yes, Yahweh says this: Your wound is incurable, your injury past healing.
13 Non è chi faccia giudizio del tuo male per medicarlo: i rimedi non ti giovano.	13 There is no one to plead your cause; for an ulcer there are remedies, but for you no cure at al .
14 Tutti i tuoi amatori si sono scordati di te, e non cercheranno di te: perocchè io ti ho percossa con piaga di nimico, con gastigo crudele: per la moltitudine di tue iniquità sono incalliti i tuoi peccati.	14 Al your lovers have forgotten you, they look for you no more. Yes, I have struck you as an enemystrikes, with cruel punishment (because of your great guilt and countless sins).
15 Perchè alzi le strida nelle tue pene? Insanabile è il tuo dolore: per ragion della moltitudine di tue iniquità, e per gli incalliti tuoi peccati ho io fatto a te questo.	15 Why cry out because of your wound? Your pain is incurable! Because of your great guilt andcountless sins, I have treated you like this.
16 Ma tutti quelli, che ti divorano, saran divorati, e tutti i nimici tuoi saran menati in ischiavitù: e coloro, che ti desolano, saran desolati; e i predatori tuoi saran predati;	16 But al those who devoured you wil be devoured, al your enemies, al , go into captivity, those whodespoiled you will be despoiled, and al who pillaged you be pil aged.
17 Imperocché io cicatrizerò la tua piaga, e ti guarirò delle tue ferite, dice il Signore. Poiché a te, o Sion, han dato il nome di ripudiata: Ell'è colei, che non ha chi n'abbia pensiero.	17 For I shal restore you to health and heal your wounds, Yahweh declares, you who used to be called'Outcast', 'Zion for whom no one cares'.
18 Queste cose dice il Signore: Ecco che io richiamerò le fuoruscite famiglie di Giacobbe, ed avrò compassione delle sue case, e la città sarà riedificata nell'alto suo monte, e il tempio sarà fondato secondo la sua dignità.	18 Yahweh says this: Look, I shal restore the tents of Jacob and take pity on his dwel ings: the town wilbe rebuilt on its mound, the stronghold where it ought to stand.
19 E da essi usciranno laude, e voci di giubilo: o io li moltiplicherò, e non diminuiranno, e li glorificherò, e non saran più avviliti.	19 From them wil come thanksgiving and shouts of joy. I shal make them increase, they wil notdecrease; I shal make them honoured, no more to be humbled.
20 E i figliuoli di lei saran come da principio, e la loro adunanza sarà stabile dinanzi a me. Ed io punirò tutti coloro, che lo affliggono.	20 Their sons wil be as once they were, their community fixed firmly before me, and I shal punish alltheir oppressors.
21 E da lui verrà il suo condottiere: e il principe spunterà di mezzo a lui: e io lo faro avvicinare, ed egli si accosterà a me. Imperocché chi è costui, che abbia fisso in cuor suo di accostarsi a me, dice il Signore?	21 Their prince wil be one of their own, their ruler come from their own people, and I shal permit him toapproach me freely; for who, otherwise, would be so bold as to approach me, Yahweh demands?
22 E voi sarete mio popolo, e io sarò vostro Dio.	22 You wil be my people and I shal be your God.
23 Ecco il turbine del Signore, il furore, che scappa fuori, la bufera precipitosa, piomberà sul capo degli empj.	23 Look, Yahweh's hurricane, his wrath, bursts out, a roaring hurricane, to burst on the heads of thewicked;
24 Il Signore non darà posa all'ira, e all'indignazione sino a tanto, che abbia eseguiti, e compiuti i disegni del cuor suo: voi li comprenderete alla fine de' giorni.	24 Yahweh's burning anger wil not turn aside until he has performed, has carried out, what he has inmind. In the final days, you wil understand this.
