1 'Di Salomone.' Dio, da'al re il tuo giudizio, al figlio del re la tua giustizia;	1 Of Solomon.
2 regga con giustizia il tuo popolo e i tuoi poveri con rettitudine.	2 O God, give your judgment to the king; your justice to the son of kings; That he may govern your people with justice, your oppressed with right judgment,
3 Le montagne portino pace al popolo e le colline giustizia.	3 That the mountains may yield their bounty for the people, and the hills great abundance,
4 Ai miseri del suo popolo renderà giustizia, salverà i figli dei poveri e abbatterà l'oppressore.	4 That he may defend the oppressed among the people, save the poor and crush the oppressor.
5 Il suo regno durerà quanto il sole, quanto la luna, per tutti i secoli.	5 May he live as long as the sun endures, like the moon, through all generations.
6 Scenderà come pioggia sull'erba, come acqua che irrora la terra.	6 May he be like rain coming down upon the fields, like showers watering the earth,
7 Nei suoi giorni fiorirà la giustizia e abbonderà la pace, finché non si spenga la luna.	7 That abundance may flourish in his days, great bounty, till the moon be no more.
8 E dominerà da mare a mare, dal fiume sino ai confini della terra.	8 May he rule from sea to sea, from the river to the ends of the earth.
9 A lui si piegheranno gli abitanti del deserto, lambiranno la polvere i suoi nemici.	9 May his foes kneel before him, his enemies lick the dust.
10 Il re di Tarsis e delle isole porteranno offerte, i re degli Arabi e di Saba offriranno tributi.	10 May the kings of Tarshish and the islands bring tribute, the kings of Arabia and Seba offer gifts.
11 A lui tutti i re si prostreranno, lo serviranno tutte le nazioni.	11 May all kings bow before him, all nations serve him.
12 Egli libererà il povero che grida e il misero che non trova aiuto,	12 For he rescues the poor when they cry out, the oppressed who have no one to help.
13 avrà pietà del debole e del povero e salverà la vita dei suoi miseri.	13 He shows pity to the needy and the poor and saves the lives of the poor.
14 Li riscatterà dalla violenza e dal sopruso, sarà prezioso ai suoi occhi il loro sangue.	14 From extortion and violence he frees them, for precious is their blood in his sight.
15 Vivrà e gli sarà dato oro di Arabia; si pregherà per lui ogni giorno, sarà benedetto per sempre.	15 Long may he live, receiving gold from Arabia, prayed for without cease, blessed day by day.
16 Abbonderà il frumento nel paese, ondeggerà sulle cime dei monti; il suo frutto fiorirà come il Libano, la sua messe come l'erba della terra.	16 May wheat abound in the land, flourish even on the mountain heights. May his fruit increase like Lebanon's, his wheat like the grasses of the land.
17 Il suo nome duri in eterno, davanti al sole persista il suo nome. In lui saranno benedette tutte le stirpi della terra e tutti i popoli lo diranno beato.	17 May his name be blessed forever; as long as the sun, may his name endure. May the tribes of the earth give blessings with his name; may all the nations regard him as favored.
18 Benedetto il Signore, Dio di Israele, egli solo compie prodigi.	18 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who alone does wonderful deeds.
19 E benedetto il suo nome glorioso per sempre, della sua gloria sia piena tutta la terra. Amen, amen.	19 Blessed be his glorious name forever; may all the earth be filled with the LORD'S glory. Amen and amen.
