1 Bildad di Suach prese a dire:	1 Bildad of Shuah spoke next. He said:
2 «Quando porrai fine alle tue chiacchiere? Rifletti bene e poi parleremo.	2 What prevents you others from saying something? Think -- for it is our turn to speak!
3 Perché ci consideri come bestie, ci fai passare per idioti ai tuoi occhi?	3 Why do you regard us as animals, considering us no more than brutes?
4 Tu che ti rodi l’anima nel tuo furore, forse per causa tua sarà abbandonata la terra e le rupi si staccheranno dal loro posto?	4 Tear yourself to pieces if you will, but the world, for al your rage, wil not turn to desert, the rocks wilnot shift from their places.
5 Certamente la luce del malvagio si spegnerà e più non brillerà la fiamma del suo focolare.	5 The light of the wicked must certainly be put out, the lamp that gives him light cease to shine.
6 La luce si offuscherà nella sua tenda e la lucerna si estinguerà sopra di lui.	6 In his tent the light is dimmed, the lamp that shone on him is snuffed.
7 Il suo energico passo si accorcerà e i suoi progetti lo faranno precipitare,	7 His vigorous stride loses its power, his own designs falter.
8 perché con i suoi piedi incapperà in una rete e tra le maglie camminerà.	8 For into the net his own feet carry him, he walks into the snares.

14 Sarà tolto dalla tenda in cui fidava, per essere trascinato davanti al re dei terrori!	14 He wil be torn from the shelter of his tent, and you wil drag him to the King of Terrors.
15 Potresti abitare nella tenda che non è più sua; sulla sua dimora si spargerà zolfo.	15 You can live in the tent, since it is no longer his, and brimstone wil be scattered on his sheepfold.

19 Non famiglia, non discendenza avrà nel suo popolo, non superstiti nei luoghi della sua residenza.	19 without issue or posterity among his own people or a single survivor where he used to live.
20 Della sua fine stupirà l’occidente e l’oriente ne avrà orrore.	20 His end appals the west and fills the east with terror.
21 Ecco qual è la sorte dell’iniquo: questa è la dimora di chi non riconosce Dio».	21 Such indeed is the fate of the places where wickedness dwel s -- the home of everyone who knowsnot God.
