1 'Salmo. Di Asaf.' Quanto è buono Dio con i giusti, con gli uomini dal cuore puro!	1 The understanding of Asaph. O God, why have you rejected us to the end. Why has your fury become enraged over the sheep of your pasture?
2 Per poco non inciampavano i miei piedi, per un nulla vacillavano i miei passi,	2 Be mindful of your congregation, which you have possessed from the beginning. You redeemed the scepter of your inheritance, mount Zion, in which you have dwelt.
3 perché ho invidiato i prepotenti, vedendo la prosperità dei malvagi.	3 Lift up your hands against their arrogance in the end. How great the malice of the enemy has been in the sanctuary!
4 Non c'è sofferenza per essi, sano e pasciuto è il loro corpo.	4 And those who hate you have been glorified, in the midst of your solemnity. They have set up their own signs as a proof,

8 Scherniscono e parlano con malizia, minacciano dall'alto con prepotenza.	8 They have said in their heart, the whole group of them together: “Let us cause all the feast days of God to cease from the land.
9 Levano la loro bocca fino al cielo e la loro lingua percorre la terra.	9 We have not seen our proof; there is now no prophet. And he will no longer know us.”
10 Perciò seggono in alto, non li raggiunge la piena delle acque.	10 How long, O God, will the enemy place blame? Is the adversary to provoke your name until the end?
11 Dicono: "Come può saperlo Dio? C'è forse conoscenza nell'Altissimo?".	11 Why do you turn your hand away, even your right hand, from the midst of your sinews, until the end?
12 Ecco, questi sono gli empi: sempre tranquilli, ammassano ricchezze.	12 But God is our king before all ages. He has wrought salvation in the midst of the earth.

18 Ecco, li poni in luoghi scivolosi, li fai precipitare in rovina.	18 Be mindful of this: the enemy placed blame against the Lord, and a foolish people has incited against your name.
19 Come sono distrutti in un istante, sono finiti, periscono di spavento!	19 Do not hand over to beasts the souls that confess to you; and do not forget the souls of your poor until the end.
20 Come un sogno al risveglio, Signore, quando sorgi, fai svanire la loro immagine.	20 Consider your covenant. For those who have been darkened upon the earth have been filled by the iniquity of the houses.
21 Quando si agitava il mio cuore e nell'intimo mi tormentavo,	21 Do not allow the humble to be turned away in confusion. The poor and the needy will praise your name.

23 Ma io sono con te sempre: tu mi hai preso per la mano destra.	23 Do not forget the voices of your adversaries. The arrogance of those who hate you rises up continually.
24 Mi guiderai con il tuo consiglio e poi mi accoglierai nella tua gloria.
25 Chi altri avrò per me in cielo? Fuori di te nulla bramo sulla terra.
26 Vengono meno la mia carne e il mio cuore; ma la roccia del mio cuore è Dio, è Dio la mia sorte per sempre.
27 Ecco, perirà chi da te si allontana, tu distruggi chiunque ti è infedele.
28 Il mio bene è stare vicino a Dio: nel Signore Dio ho posto il mio rifugio, per narrare tutte le tue opere presso le porte della città di Sion.
