1 Pour la fin. Ne détruis (corrompez) pas. Psaume (d'un) cantique d'Asaph.	1 Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
2 Nous vous louerons, ô Dieu, nous (vous) louerons, et nous invoquerons votre nom ; nous raconterons vos merveilles.	2 When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.
3 Au temps que j'aurai fixé (Lorsque j'aurai pris mon temps), je ferai parfaite justice (c'est moi qui jugerai les justices).	3 The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.
4 La terre s'est dissoute, avec tous ceux qui l'habitent. Moi j'ai affermi ses colonnes.	4 I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
5 J'ai dit aux méchants : Ne commettez plus l'iniquité ; et aux pécheurs : N'élevez plus un front superbe (pas votre corne).	5 Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
6 Ne levez plus si haut la tête (pas en haut votre corne) ; cessez de proférer des blasphèmes (ne dites pas) contre Dieu (d'iniquité).	6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
7 Car ce n'est ni de l'orient, ni de l'occident, ni des montagnes désertes, que vous viendra le (des) secours,	7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
8 parce que c'est Dieu qui est juge. Il humilie celui-ci, et il élève (exalte) celui-là ;	8 For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
9 car il y a dans la main du Seigneur une coupe (un calice) de vin pur, plein(e) d'aromates (d'un mélange). Il en verse (l'a penché) de côté et d'autre, et pourtant la lie n'en est pas encore épuisée ; tous les pécheurs de la terre en boiront.	9 But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10 Pour moi, j'annoncerai ces choses à jamais ; je chanterai (à la gloire du) (le) Dieu de Jacob.	10 All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
11 Et je briserai toutes les cornes des pécheurs, et les cornes du juste se redresseront.
