1 'Lodi. Di Davide.' Alef. O Dio, mio re, voglio esaltarti e benedire il tuo nome in eterno e per sempre.	1 I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
2 Bet. Ti voglio benedire ogni giorno, lodare il tuo nome in eterno e per sempre.	2 Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
3 Ghimel. Grande è il Signore e degno di ogni lode, la sua grandezza non si può misurare.	3 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
4 Dalet. Una generazione narra all'altra le tue opere, annunzia le tue meraviglie.	4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
5 He. Proclamano lo splendore della tua gloria e raccontano i tuoi prodigi.	5 I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
6 Vau. Dicono la stupenda tua potenza e parlano della tua grandezza.	6 And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.
7 Zain. Diffondono il ricordo della tua bontà immensa, acclamano la tua giustizia.	7 They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
8 Het. Paziente e misericordioso è il Signore, lento all'ira e ricco di grazia.	8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
9 Tet. Buono è il Signore verso tutti, la sua tenerezza si espande su tutte le creature.	9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
10 Iod. Ti lodino, Signore, tutte le tue opere e ti benedicano i tuoi fedeli.	10 All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.
11 Caf. Dicano la gloria del tuo regno e parlino della tua potenza,	11 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;
12 Lamed. per manifestare agli uomini i tuoi prodigi e la splendida gloria del tuo regno.	12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
13 Mem. Il tuo regno è regno di tutti i secoli, il tuo dominio si estende ad ogni generazione.	13 Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
14 Samech. Il Signore sostiene quelli che vacillano e rialza chiunque è caduto.	14 The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.
15 Ain. Gli occhi di tutti sono rivolti a te in attesa e tu provvedi loro il cibo a suo tempo.	15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.
16 Pe. Tu apri la tua mano e sazi la fame di ogni vivente.	16 Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
17 Sade. Giusto è il Signore in tutte le sue vie, santo in tutte le sue opere.	17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
18 Kof. Il Signore è vicino a quanti lo invocano, a quanti lo cercano con cuore sincero.	18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
19 Res. Appaga il desiderio di quelli che lo temono, ascolta il loro grido e li salva.	19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
20 Sin. Il Signore protegge quanti lo amano, ma disperde tutti gli empi.	20 The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.
21 Tau. Canti la mia bocca la lode del Signore e ogni vivente benedica il suo nome santo, in eterno e sempre.	21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
