¹ 'Lodi. Di Davide.' Alef. O Dio, mio re, voglio esaltarti e benedire il tuo nome in eterno e per sempre.	¹ I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
² Bet. Ti voglio benedire ogni giorno, lodare il tuo nome in eterno e per sempre.	² Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
³ Ghimel. Grande è il Signore e degno di ogni lode, la sua grandezza non si può misurare.	³ Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
⁴ Dalet. Una generazione narra all'altra le tue opere, annunzia le tue meraviglie.	⁴ One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
⁵ He. Proclamano lo splendore della tua gloria e raccontano i tuoi prodigi.	⁵ I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
⁶ Vau. Dicono la stupenda tua potenza e parlano della tua grandezza.	⁶ And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.
⁷ Zain. Diffondono il ricordo della tua bontà immensa, acclamano la tua giustizia.	⁷ They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
⁸ Het. Paziente e misericordioso è il Signore, lento all'ira e ricco di grazia.	⁸ The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
⁹ Tet. Buono è il Signore verso tutti, la sua tenerezza si espande su tutte le creature.	⁹ The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
¹⁰ Iod. Ti lodino, Signore, tutte le tue opere e ti benedicano i tuoi fedeli.	¹⁰ All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.
¹¹ Caf. Dicano la gloria del tuo regno e parlino della tua potenza,	¹¹ They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;
¹² Lamed. per manifestare agli uomini i tuoi prodigi e la splendida gloria del tuo regno.	¹² To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
¹³ Mem. Il tuo regno è regno di tutti i secoli, il tuo dominio si estende ad ogni generazione.	¹³ Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
¹⁴ Samech. Il Signore sostiene quelli che vacillano e rialza chiunque è caduto.	¹⁴ The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.
¹⁵ Ain. Gli occhi di tutti sono rivolti a te in attesa e tu provvedi loro il cibo a suo tempo.	¹⁵ The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.
¹⁶ Pe. Tu apri la tua mano e sazi la fame di ogni vivente.	¹⁶ Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
¹⁷ Sade. Giusto è il Signore in tutte le sue vie, santo in tutte le sue opere.	¹⁷ The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
¹⁸ Kof. Il Signore è vicino a quanti lo invocano, a quanti lo cercano con cuore sincero.	¹⁸ The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
¹⁹ Res. Appaga il desiderio di quelli che lo temono, ascolta il loro grido e li salva.	¹⁹ He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
²⁰ Sin. Il Signore protegge quanti lo amano, ma disperde tutti gli empi.	²⁰ The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.
²¹ Tau. Canti la mia bocca la lode del Signore e ogni vivente benedica il suo nome santo, in eterno e sempre.	²¹ My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
