1 Alleluia. Celebrate il Signore, perché è buono; perché eterna è la sua misericordia.	1 Give praise to Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Dica Israele che egli è buono: eterna è la sua misericordia.	2 Let Israel now say that he is good: that his mercy endureth for ever.
3 Lo dica la casa di Aronne: eterna è la sua misericordia.	3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
4 Lo dica chi teme Dio: eterna è la sua misericordia.	4 Let them that fear the Lord now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
5 Nell'angoscia ho gridato al Signore, mi ha risposto, il Signore, e mi ha tratto in salvo.	5 In my trouble I called upon the Lord: and the Lord heard me, and enlarged me.
6 Il Signore è con me, non ho timore; che cosa può farmi l'uomo?	6 The Lord is my helper, I will not fear what man can do unto me.
7 Il Signore è con me, è mio aiuto, sfiderò i miei nemici.	7 The Lord is my helper: and I will look over my enemies.
8 È meglio rifugiarsi nel Signore che confidare nell'uomo.	8 It is good to confide in the Lord, rather than to have confidence in man.
9 È meglio rifugiarsi nel Signore che confidare nei potenti.	9 It is good to trust in the Lord, rather than to trust in princes.
10 Tutti i popoli mi hanno circondato, ma nel nome del Signore li ho sconfitti.	10 All nations compassed me about; and in the name of the Lord I have been revenged on them.
11 Mi hanno circondato, mi hanno accerchiato, ma nel nome del Signore li ho sconfitti.	11 Surrounding me they compassed me about: and in the name of the Lord I have been revenged on them.
12 Mi hanno circondato come api, come fuoco che divampa tra le spine, ma nel nome del Signore li ho sconfitti.	12 They surrounded me like bees, and they burned like fire among thorns: and in the name of the Lord I was revenged on them
13 Mi avevano spinto con forza per farmi cadere, ma il Signore è stato mio aiuto.	13 Being pushed I was overturned that I might fall: but the Lord supported me.
14 Mia forza e mio canto è il Signore, egli è stato la mia salvezza.	14 The Lord is my strength and my praise: and he is become my salvation.
15 Grida di giubilo e di vittoria, nelle tende dei giusti: la destra del Signore ha fatto meraviglie,	15 The voice of rejoicing and of salvation is in the tabernacles of the just.
16 la destra del Signore si è innalzata, la destra del Signore ha fatto meraviglie.	16 The right hand of the Lord hath wrought strength: the right hand of the Lord hath exulted me: the right hand of the Lord hath wrought strength.
17 Non morirò, resterò in vita e annunzierò le opere del Signore.	17 I shall not die, but live: and shall declare the works of the Lord.
18 Il Signore mi ha provato duramente, ma non mi ha consegnato alla morte.	18 The Lord chastising hath chastised me: but he hath not delivered me over to death.
19 Apritemi le porte della giustizia: voglio entrarvi e rendere grazie al Signore.	19 Open ye to me the gates of justice: I will go into them, and give praise to the Lord.
20 È questa la porta del Signore, per essa entrano i giusti.	20 This is the gate of the Lord, the just shall enter into it.
21 Ti rendo grazie, perché mi hai esaudito, perché sei stato la mia salvezza.	21 I will give glory to thee because thou hast heard me: and art become my salvation.
22 La pietra scartata dai costruttori è divenuta testata d'angolo;	22 The stone which the builders rejected; the same is become the head of the corner.
23 ecco l'opera del Signore: una meraviglia ai nostri occhi.	23 This is the Lord's doing: and it is wonderful in our eyes.
24 Questo è il giorno fatto dal Signore: rallegriamoci ed esultiamo in esso.	24 This is the day which the Lord hath made: let us be glad and rejoice therein.
25 Dona, Signore, la tua salvezza, dona, Signore, la vittoria!	25 O Lord, save me: O Lord, give good success.
26 Benedetto colui che viene nel nome del Signore. Vi benediciamo dalla casa del Signore;	26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name Lord. We have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
27 Dio, il Signore è nostra luce. Ordinate il corteo con rami frondosi fino ai lati dell'altare.	27 The Lord is God, and he hath shone upon us. Appoint a solemn day, with shady boughs, even to the horn of the alter.
28 Sei tu il mio Dio e ti rendo grazie, sei il mio Dio e ti esalto.	28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, and I will exalt thee. I will praise thee, because thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
29 Celebrate il Signore, perché è buono: perché eterna è la sua misericordia.	29 O praise ye the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
