Prima sabbati. Psalmus David. Domini est terra, et plenitudo ejus ; orbis terrarum, et universi qui habitant in eo. | 1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. |
Quia ipse super maria fundavit eum, et super flumina præparavit eum. | 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. |
Quis ascendet in montem Domini ? aut quis stabit in loco sancto ejus ? | 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. |
Innocens manibus et mundo corde, qui non accepit in vano animam suam, nec juravit in dolo proximo suo : | 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. |
hic accipiet benedictionem a Domino, et misericordiam a Deo salutari suo. | 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. |
Hæc est generatio quærentium eum, quærentium faciem Dei Jacob. | 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. |
Attollite portas, principes, vestras, et elevamini, portæ æternales, et introibit rex gloriæ.
Quis est iste rex gloriæ ? Dominus fortis et potens, Dominus potens in prælio.
Attollite portas, principes, vestras, et elevamini, portæ æternales, et introibit rex gloriæ.
Quis est iste rex gloriæ ? Dominus virtutum ipse est rex gloriæ. |
