Psalmi 128

VULGATA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Canticum graduum. Sæpe expugnaverunt me a juventute mea, dicat nunc Israël ;	1 [Song of Ascents] How blessed are al who fear Yahweh, who walk in his ways!
2 sæpe expugnaverunt me a juventute mea : etenim non potuerunt mihi.	2 Your own labours wil yield you a living, happy and prosperous will you be.
3 Supra dorsum meum fabricaverunt peccatores ; prolongaverunt iniquitatem suam.	3 Your wife a fruitful vine in the inner places of your house. Your children round your table like shootsof an olive tree.
4 Dominus justus concidit cervices peccatorum.	4 Such are the blessings that fal on those who fear Yahweh.
5 Confundantur, et convertantur retrorsum omnes qui oderunt Sion.	5 May Yahweh bless you from Zion! May you see Jerusalem prosper al the days of your life,
6 Fiant sicut f?num tectorum, quod priusquam evellatur exaruit :	6 and live to see your children's children! Peace to Israel!
7 de quo non implevit manum suam qui metit, et sinum suum qui manipulos colligit.
8 Et non dixerunt qui præteribant : Benedictio Domini super vos. Benediximus vobis in nomine Domini.
