Isaia 56

BIBBIA CEI 2008	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Così dice il Signore: «Osservate il diritto e praticate la giustizia, perché la mia salvezza sta per venire, la mia giustizia sta per rivelarsi».	1 Thus says Yahweh: Make fair judgement your concern, act with justice, for soon my salvation wil comeand my saving justice be manifest.
2 Beato l’uomo che così agisce e il figlio dell’uomo che a questo si attiene, che osserva il sabato senza profanarlo, che preserva la sua mano da ogni male.	2 Blessed is anyone who does this, anyone who clings to it, observing the Sabbath, not profaning it, andabstaining from every evil deed.
3 Non dica lo straniero che ha aderito al Signore: «Certo, mi escluderà il Signore dal suo popolo!». Non dica l’eunuco: «Ecco, io sono un albero secco!».	3 No foreigner adhering to Yahweh should say, 'Yahweh wil utterly exclude me from his people.' Noeunuch should say, 'Look, I am a dried-up tree.'
4 Poiché così dice il Signore: «Agli eunuchi che osservano i miei sabati, preferiscono quello che a me piace e restano fermi nella mia alleanza,	4 For Yahweh says this: To the eunuchs who observe my Sabbaths and choose to do my good pleasureand cling to my covenant,
5 io concederò nella mia casa e dentro le mie mura un monumento e un nome più prezioso che figli e figlie; darò loro un nome eterno che non sarà mai cancellato.	5 I shal give them in my house and within my wal s a monument and a name better than sons anddaughters; I shal give them an everlasting name that will never be effaced.
6 Gli stranieri, che hanno aderito al Signore per servirlo e per amare il nome del Signore, e per essere suoi servi, quanti si guardano dal profanare il sabato e restano fermi nella mia alleanza,	6 As for foreigners who adhere to Yahweh to serve him, to love Yahweh's name and become hisservants, al who observe the Sabbath, not profaning it, and cling to my covenant:
7 li condurrò sul mio monte santo e li colmerò di gioia nella mia casa di preghiera. I loro olocausti e i loro sacrifici saranno graditi sul mio altare, perché la mia casa si chiamerà casa di preghiera per tutti i popoli».	7 these I shall lead to my holy mountain and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burntofferings and sacrifices wil be accepted on my altar, for my house wil be called a house of prayer for allpeoples.
8 Oracolo del Signore Dio, che raduna i dispersi d’Israele: «Io ne radunerò ancora altri, oltre quelli già radunati».	8 Lord Yahweh who gathers the exiles of Israel declares: There are others I shal gather besides thosealready gathered.
9 Voi tutte, bestie dei campi, venite a mangiare; voi tutte, bestie della foresta, venite.	9 Come and gorge, al you wild beasts, al you beasts of the forest!
10 I suoi guardiani sono tutti ciechi, non capiscono nulla. Sono tutti cani muti, incapaci di abbaiare; sonnecchiano accovacciati, amano appisolarsi.	10 Its watchmen are all blind, they know nothing. Dumb watchdogs all, unable to bark, they dream, liedown, and love to sleep.
11 Ma questi cani avidi, che non sanno saziarsi, sono i pastori che non capiscono nulla. Ognuno segue la sua via, ognuno bada al proprio interesse, senza eccezione.	11 Greedy dogs, never satisfied, such are the shepherds, who understand nothing; they al go their ownway, each to the last man after his own interest.
12 «Venite, io prenderò del vino e ci ubriacheremo di bevande inebrianti. Domani sarà come oggi, e molto più ancora».	12 'Come, let me fetch wine; we wil get drunk on strong drink, tomorrow will be just as wonderful astoday and even more so!'
