1 [Song Psalm Of David] My heart is ready, God, I will sing and make music; come, my glory!
2 Saldo è il mio cuore, Dio,
saldo è il mio cuore:
voglio cantare inni, anima mia.
2 Awake, lyre and harp, I will awake the Dawn!
3 Svegliatevi, arpa e cetra,
voglio svegliare l'aurora.

3 I wil praise you among the peoples, Yahweh, I wil play to you among nations,
4 Ti loderò tra i popoli, Signore,
a te canterò inni tra le genti,
4 for your faithful love towers to heaven, and your constancy to the clouds.
5 perché la tua bontà è grande fino ai cieli
e la tua verità fino alle nubi.
5 Be exalted above the heavens, God. Your glory over the whole earth!
6 Innàlzati, Dio, sopra i cieli,
su tutta la terra la tua gloria.

6 To rescue those you love, save with your right hand and answer us.
7 Perché siano liberati i tuoi amici,

7 God has spoken from his sanctuary, 'In triumph I wil divide up Shechem, and share out the Val ey ofSuccoth.
8 Dio ha parlato nel suo santuario:
"Esulterò, voglio dividere Sichem
e misurare la valle di Succot;
8 'Mine is Gilead, mine Manasseh, Ephraim the helmet on my head, Judah my commander's baton,
9 mio è Gàlaad, mio Manasse,
Èfraim è l'elmo del mio capo,
Giuda il mio scettro.
9 'Moab a bowl for me to wash in, on Edom I plant my sandal, over Philistia I cry victory.'
10 Moab è il catino per lavarmi,
sull'Idumea getterò i miei sandali,
sulla Filistea canterò vittoria".

10 Who will lead me against a fortified city, who wil guide me into Edom,
11 Chi mi guiderà alla città fortificata,
chi mi condurrà fino all'Idumea?
11 if not you, the God who has rejected us? God, you no longer march with our armies.
12 Non forse tu, Dio, che ci hai respinti
e più non esci, Dio, con i nostri eserciti?
12 Bring us help in our time of crisis, any human assistance is worthless.
13 Contro il nemico portaci soccorso,
poiché vana è la salvezza dell'uomo.
13 With God we shal do deeds of valour, he wil trample down our enemies.
14 Con Dio noi faremo cose grandi
ed egli annienterà chi ci opprime.
