1 J'aime (ai aimé) le Seigneur, parce qu'il exaucera la voix de ma prière.	1 I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my supplications.
2 Parce qu'il a incliné vers moi son oreille, je l'invoquerai tous les jours de ma vie.	2 Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.
3 Les douleurs de la mort m'ont environné, et les périls de l'enfer m'ont surpris (atteint). J'ai trouvé l'affliction et la douleur,	3 The snares of death encompassed me; the pangs of Sheol laid hold on me; I suffered distress and anguish.
4 et j'ai invoqué le nom du Seigneur : O Seigneur, délivrez mon âme.	4 Then I called on the name of the LORD: "O LORD, I beseech thee, save my life!"
5 Le Seigneur est miséricordieux et juste, et notre Dieu est compatissant (a pitié).	5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; our God is merciful.
6 Le Seigneur garde les petits ; j'ai été humilié et il m'a délivré.	6 The LORD preserves the simple; when I was brought low, he saved me.
7 Rentre, ô mon âme, dans ton repos, car le Seigneur t'a comblée de biens.	7 Return, O my soul, to your rest; for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.
8 Car il a délivré (arraché) mon âme de la mort, mes yeux des larmes, mes pieds de la chute.	8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling;
9 Je plairai au Seigneur dans la terre des vivants.	9 I walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
10 J'ai cru, c'est pourquoi j'ai parlé ; mais j'ai été dans une profonde humiliation (humilié jusqu'à l'excès).	10 I kept my faith, even when I said, "I am greatly afflicted";
11 J'ai dit dans mon abattement extrême (transport) : Tout homme est menteur.	11 I said in my consternation, "Men are all a vain hope."
12 Que rendrai-je au Seigneur pour tous les biens qu'il m'a faits ?	12 What shall I render to the LORD for all his bounty to me?
13 Je prendrai le calice du salut, et j'invoquerai le nom du Seigneur.	13 I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD,
14 Je rendrai mes vœux au Seigneur devant tout son peuple.	14 I will pay my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people.
15 La mort de ses saints est précieuse aux yeux du Seigneur.	15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
16 O Seigneur, (parce que) je suis votre serviteur ; je suis votre serviteur, et le fils de votre servante. Vous avez rompu mes liens ;	16 O LORD, I am thy servant; I am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid. Thou hast loosed my bonds.
17 je vous sacrifierai une hostie de louanges, et j'invoquerai le nom du Seigneur.	17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the LORD.
18 Je rendrai mes vœux au Seigneur en présence de tout son peuple,	18 I will pay my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people,
19 dans les parvis de la maison du Seigneur, au milieu de toi, Jérusalem.	19 in the courts of the house of the LORD, in your midst, O Jerusalem. Praise the LORD!
