Isaia 62

BIBBIA CEI 2008	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Per amore di Sion non tacerò, per amore di Gerusalemme non mi concederò riposo, finché non sorga come aurora la sua giustizia e la sua salvezza non risplenda come lampada.	1 About Zion I wil not be silent, about Jerusalem I shal not rest until saving justice dawns for her like abright light and her salvation like a blazing torch.
2 Allora le genti vedranno la tua giustizia, tutti i re la tua gloria; sarai chiamata con un nome nuovo, che la bocca del Signore indicherà.	2 The nations wil then see your saving justice, and all kings your glory, and you wil be cal ed a newname which Yahweh's mouth wil reveal.
3 Sarai una magnifica corona nella mano del Signore, un diadema regale nella palma del tuo Dio.	3 You will be a crown of splendour in Yahweh's hand, a princely diadem in the hand of your God.
4 Nessuno ti chiamerà più Abbandonata, né la tua terra sarà più detta Devastata, ma sarai chiamata Mia Gioia e la tua terra Sposata, perché il Signore troverà in te la sua delizia e la tua terra avrà uno sposo.	4 No more wil you be known as 'Forsaken' or your country be known as 'Desolation'; instead, you wil becal ed 'My Delight is in her' and your country 'The Wedded'; for Yahweh wil take delight in you and your countrywil have its wedding.
5 Sì, come un giovane sposa una vergine, così ti sposeranno i tuoi figli; come gioisce lo sposo per la sposa, così il tuo Dio gioirà per te.	5 Like a young man marrying a virgin, your rebuilder will wed you, and as the bridegroom rejoices in his bride, so wil your God rejoice in you.
6 Sulle tue mura, Gerusalemme, ho posto sentinelle; per tutto il giorno e tutta la notte non taceranno mai. Voi, che risvegliate il ricordo del Signore, non concedetevi riposo	6 On your wal s, Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen; they will never fal silent, day or night. No peace foryou, as you keep Yahweh's attention!
7 né a lui date riposo, finché non abbia ristabilito Gerusalemme e ne abbia fatto oggetto di lode sulla terra.	7 And give him no peace either until he restores Jerusalem and makes her the pride of the world!
8 Il Signore ha giurato con la sua destra e con il suo braccio potente: «Mai più darò il tuo grano in cibo ai tuoi nemici, mai più gli stranieri berranno il vino per il quale tu hai faticato.	8 Yahweh has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: Never again shall I give your grain to feedyour enemies. Never again will foreigners drink the wine for which you have toiled.
9 No! Coloro che avranno raccolto il grano, lo mangeranno e canteranno inni al Signore, coloro che avranno vendemmiato berranno il vino nei cortili del mio santuario.	9 No, the reapers wil eat it and praise Yahweh, the harvesters will drink it in my sacred courts!
10 Passate, passate per le porte, sgombrate la via al popolo, spianate, spianate la strada, liberatela dalle pietre, innalzate un vessillo per i popoli».	10 Pass through, pass through the gates. Clear a way for my people! Level up, level up the highway,remove the stones! Hoist a signal to the peoples!
11 Ecco ciò che il Signore fa sentire all’estremità della terra: «Dite alla figlia di Sion: “Ecco, arriva il tuo salvatore; ecco, egli ha con sé il premio e la sua ricompensa lo precede”.	11 This is what Yahweh has proclaimed to the remotest part of earth: Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Look,your salvation is coming; with him comes his reward, his achievement precedes him!'
12 Li chiameranno “Popolo santo”, “Redenti del Signore”. E tu sarai chiamata Ricercata, “Città non abbandonata”».	12 They will be cal ed 'The Holy People', 'Yahweh's Redeemed', while you will be cal ed 'Sought-after','City-not-forsaken'.
