1 'Canto. Salmo. Di Asaf.'	1 [Song Psalm Of Asaph] God, do not remain silent, do not stay quiet or unmoved, God!
2 Dio, non darti riposo, non restare muto e inerte, o Dio.	2 See how your enemies are in uproar, how those who hate you are rearing their heads.
3 Vedi: i tuoi avversari fremono e i tuoi nemici alzano la testa.	3 They are laying plans against your people, conspiring against those you cherish;
4 Contro il tuo popolo ordiscono trame e congiurano contro i tuoi protetti.	4 they say, 'Come, let us annihilate them as a nation, the name of Israel shall be remembered no more!'
5 Hanno detto: "Venite, cancelliamoli come popolo e più non si ricordi il nome di Israele".	5 They conspire with a single mind, they conclude an al iance against you,

16 così tu inseguili con la tua bufera e sconvolgili con il tuo uragano.	16 Shame written al over their faces, let them seek your name, Yahweh!
17 Copri di vergogna i loro volti perché cerchino il tuo nome, Signore.	17 Dishonour and terror be always theirs, death also and destruction.
18 Restino confusi e turbati per sempre, siano umiliati, periscano;	18 Let them know that you alone bear the name of Yahweh, Most High over al the earth.
19 sappiano che tu hai nome "Signore", tu solo sei l'Altissimo su tutta la terra.
