1 MA Baldad di Sneh rispose, e disse:	1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
2 Potente, e terribile è quegli, che mantien la concordia nell'alte sue spere.	2 Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.
3 Si può forse contare il numero di sue milizie? e chi è che non partecipi della sua luce?	3 Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?
4 Può egli forse un uomo esser giustificato, ove si paragoni con Dio, o apparir mondo uno che è nato di donna?	4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
5 Certamente la luna stessa non ha splendore, e le stelle non sono pure dinanzi a lui:	5 Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
6 Quanto men l'uomo che è putredine, e il figliuolo dell'uomo che è un verme?	6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?
