| 3 Alza la tua mano contro le nazioni straniere, affinchè veggano la tua potenza. | 3 Lift up thy hand against foreign nations and let them see thy might. |
| 4 Come davanti a loro hai mostrato in noi la tua santità, così davanti a noi mostra sopra di loro la tua grandezza. | 4 As in us thou hast been sanctified before them, so in them be thou magnified before us; |
| 5 Affinché riconoscano, come l'abbiamo riconosciuto noi, che non v'è altro Dio fuori di te, o Signore. | 5 and let them know thee, as we have known that there is not God but thee, O Lord. |
| 6 Rinnova i miracoli, fai delle altre maraviglie, | 6 Show signs anew, and work further wonders; make thy hand and thy right arm glorious. |
| 7 glorifica la tua mano, il tuo braccio destro. | 7 Rouse thy anger and pour out thy wrath; destroy the adversary and wipe out the enemy. |
| 8 Eccita il furore, effondi l'ira, | 8 Hasten the day, and remember the appointed time, and let people recount thy mighty deeds. |
| 9 distruggi l'avversario, annienta il nemico. | 9 Let him who survives be consumed in the fiery wrath, and may those who harm thy people meet destruction. |
| 10 Accelera il tempo, ricordati della fine, perchè sian celebrate le tue maraviglie. | 10 Crush the heads of the rulers of the enemy, who say, "There is no one but ourselves." |
| 11 Gli scampati sian divorati dalla fiamma dell'ira, e quelli che maltrattano il tuo popolo trovino la perdizione. | 11 Gather all the tribes of Jacob, and give them their inheritance, as at the beginning. |
| 12 Schiaccia la testa dei principi nemici, che dicono: « Non ci siamo che noi! ». | 12 Have mercy, O Lord, upon the people called by thy name, upon Israel, whom thou hast likened to a first-born son. |
| 13 Raduna tutte le tribù di Giacobbe, affinchè riconoscano che non c'è altro Dio fuori di te e raccontino le tue maraviglie, e sian tua eredità come da principio. | 13 Have pity on the city of thy sanctuary, Jerusalem, the place of thy rest. |
| 14 Abbi pietà del tuo popolo, sopra il quale è invocato il tuo nome, e d'Israele, che tu hai trattato come tuo primogenito. | 14 Fill Zion with the celebration of thy wondrous deeds, and thy temple with thy glory. |
| 15 Abbi pietà della, città da te santificata, di Gerusalemme, città del tuo riposo. | 15 Bear witness to those whom thou didst create in the beginning, and fulfil the prophecies spoken in thy name. |
| 16 Riempi Sionne delle tue ineffabili parole, e il tuo popolo della tua gloria. | 16 Reward those who wait for thee, and let thy prophets be found trustworthy. |
| 17 Rendi testimonianza a coloro che sono fin da principio tue creature, e fa rivivere le predizioni annunziate in nome tuo dagli antichi profeti. | 17 Hearken, O Lord, to the prayer of thy servants, according to the blessing of Aaron for thy people, and all who are on the earth will know that thou art the Lord, the God of the ages. |

| 19 secondo la benedizione di Aronne sul tuo popolo; e guidaci nella via della giustizia, affinchè sappiano tutti gli abitatori della terra che tu sei il Dio scrutatore dei secoli. | 19 As the palate tastes the kinds of game, so an intelligent mind detects false words. |
| 20 Il ventre riceve ogni sorta di nutrimento, ma un cibo è migliore d'un altro. | 20 A perverse mind will cause grief, but a man of experience will pay him back. |
| 21 Il palato distingue la cacciagione, e il cuore assennato le parole menzognere. | 21 A woman will accept any man, but one daughter is better than another. |
