1 - Queste son le stazioni dei figli d'Israele, i quali uscirono dall'Egitto schiera per schiera, sotto la guida di Mosè ed Aronne;	1 These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
2 le registrò Mosè, secondo i luoghi degli accampamenti che venivano mutati per comando di Dio.	2 And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.
3 Partirono dunque i figli di Israele da Ramesse il mese primo, ai quindici del mese, il giorno dopo Pasqua, con l'aiuto di mano forte, vedendoli tutti gli Egiziani,	3 And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.
4 i quali attendevano a seppellire i loro primogeniti percossi dal Signore che anche sui loro dèi aveva esercitato la sua vendetta.	4 For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.
5 Andarono ad accamparsi in Soccot	5 And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.
6 e da Soccot vennero in Etam, agli estremi confini del deserto.	6 And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
7 Di lì usciti, vennero di contro a Fiairot, che guarda Beelsefon, e posero il campo dinanzi a Magdalum.	7 And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pi-hahiroth, which is before Baal-zephon: and they pitched before Migdol.
8 Partiti da Fiairot, passarono per mezzo al mare, [e si diressero] verso il deserto; dopo tre giorni di cammino pel deserto d'Etam, s'accamparono in Mara.	8 And they departed from before Pi-hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
9 Partiti da Mara, vennero in Elim, dov'erano dodici fonti d'acqua e settanta palme, e vi s'accamparono.	9 And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.
10 Partiti di lì, andarono a fermar le tende lungo il Mar Rosso. Partiti di sul Mar Rosso,	10 And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.
11 s'accamparono nel deserto di Sin;	11 And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
12 donde partiti, vennero in Dafca;	12 And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
13 partiti da Dafca, s'attendarono in Alus;	13 And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.
14 usciti da Alus, fermarono le tende in Rafidim, dove mancò al popolo l'acqua per bere;	14 And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.
15 partiti poi da Rafidim, andarono ad accamparsi nel deserto di Sinai.	15 And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.
16 Usciti dal deserto di Sinai, vennero ai Sepolcri della concupiscenza;	16 And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibroth-hattaavah.
17 partiti dai Sepolcri della concupiscenza, si accamparono in Haserot;	17 And they departed from Kibroth-hattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.
18 da Haserot vennero in Retma;	18 And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.
19 partiti da Retma, posero il campo in Remmonfares;	19 And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmon-parez.
20 usciti di qui, vennero in Lebna;	20 And they departed from Rimmon-parez, and pitched in Libnah.
21 da Lebna andarono ad accamparsi in Ressa;	21 And they removed from Libnah, and pitched at Rissah.
22 usciti da Ressa, vennero in Ceelata;	22 And they journeyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.
23 partiti di qui, s'accamparono sul monte Sefer.	23 And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.
24 Lasciato il monte Sefer, vennero in Arada;	24 And they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Haradah.
25 partiti di lì, s'accamparono in Macelot;	25 And they removed from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.
26 partiti da Macelot, vennero in Taat;	26 And they removed from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.
27 da Taat andarono ad accamparsi in Tare;	27 And they departed from Tahath, and pitched at Tarah.
28 di qui usciti, posero le tende in Metca;	28 And they removed from Tarah, and pitched in Mithcah.
29 da Metca posero il campo in Hesmona;	29 And they went from Mithcah, and pitched in Hashmonah.
30 partiti da Hesmona, vennero in Moserot;	30 And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.
31 da Moserot andarono ad accamparsi in Beneiaacan;	31 And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Bene-jaakan.
32 partiti da Beneiaacan, vennero al monte Gadgad;	32 And they removed from Bene-jaakan, and encamped at Hor-hagidgad.
33 partiti di lì, s'accamparono in Ietebata;	33 And they went from Hor-hagidgad, and pitched in Jotbathah.
34 da Ietebata vennero in Hebrona;	34 And they removed from Jotbathah, and encamped at Ebronah.
35 usciti da Hebrona si accamparono in Asiongaber;	35 And they departed from Ebronah, and encamped at Ezion-gaber.
36 partiti di lì vennero nel deserto di Sin, cioè in Cades.	36 And they removed from Ezion-gaber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.
37 E partiti da Cades, s'accamparono al monte Hor, agli estremi confini della terra di Edom.	37 And they removed from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
38 Al comando del Signore, Aronne sacerdote salì sul monte Hor, ed ivi morì, l'anno quarantesimo dell'uscita dei figli d'Israele dall'Egitto, il mese quinto, il giorni primo del mese,	38 And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.
39 essendo di centoventitrè anni.	39 And Aaron was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.
40 Allora il Cananeo re d'Arad, che abitava al mezzogiorno nella terra di Canaan, seppe che i figli d'Israele erano venuti.	40 And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
41 E partiti dal monte Hor, s'accamparono in Salmona;	41 And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.
42 di lì usciti vennero in Funon;	42 And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.
43 partiti da Funon, si accamparono in Obot;	43 And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.
44 da Obot vennero in Jieabarim, ai confini dei Moabiti;	44 And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Ije-abarim, in the border of Moab.
45 venuti via da Jieabarim, s'attendarono a Dibongad;	45 And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibon-gad.
46 da dove usciti, si accamparono in Helmondeblataim;	46 And they removed from Dibon-gad, and encamped in Almon-diblathaim.
47 partiti da Helmondeblataim, vennero ai monti d'Abarim di contro a Nabo;	47 And they removed from Almon-diblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
48 partiti dai monti d'Abarim, passarono alle pianure di Moab, sul Giordano, di faccia a Gerico,	48 And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
49 ed ivi piantaron le tende da Betsimot sino ad Abelsatim nelle pianure dei Moabiti.	49 And they pitched by Jordan, from Beth-jesimoth even unto Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab.
50 Ivi il Signore disse a Mosè:	50 And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,
51 «Comanda a' figli d'Israele, e di' loro: - Quando, passato il Giordano, entrerete nella terra di Canaan,	51 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;
52 disperdete tutti gli abitanti di quella terra, spezzate i pilastri scolpiti, fate in briciole le statue, e distruggete tutti gli altari dei luoghi alti,	52 Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:
53 purificando quella terra per poi abitarvi perchè io ve l'ho data per vostro possesso.	53 And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.
54 Dividetela tra voi a sorte; ai più numerosi date una porzione più grande, ed ai meno datela minore. A ciascuno si darà il suo retaggio come gli è toccato in sorte, e la divisione si farà per tribù e per famiglie.	54 And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man's inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.
55 Ma se non vorrete mettere a morte gli abitanti di quella terra, quelli che rimarranno saranno per voi come chiodi negli occhi e lance nei fianchi, e saranno vostri nemici nella terra da voi abitata.	55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
56 Tutto quello che io avevo divisato di fare a loro, lo farò a voi -».	56 Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
