1 [For the choirmaster Of the sons of Korah Psalm] Yahweh, you are gracious to your land, you bringback the captives of Jacob,
2 Signore, sei stato buono con la tua terra,
hai ricondotto i deportati di Giacobbe.
2 you take away the guilt of your people, you blot out al their sin.Pause
3 Hai perdonato l'iniquità del tuo popolo,
hai cancellato tutti i suoi peccati.
3 You retract al your anger, you renounce the heat of your fury.
4 Hai deposto tutto il tuo sdegno
e messo fine alla tua grande ira.

4 Bring us back, God our Saviour, appease your indignation against us!
5 Rialzaci, Dio nostra salvezza,
e placa il tuo sdegno verso di noi.
5 Wil you be angry with us for ever? Wil you prolong your wrath age after age?
6 Forse per sempre sarai adirato con noi,
di età in età estenderai il tuo sdegno?
6 Wil you not give us life again, for your people to rejoice in you?
7 Non tornerai tu forse a darci vita,
perché in te gioisca il tuo popolo?
7 Show us, Lord, your faithful love, grant us your saving help.
8 Mostraci, Signore, la tua misericordia
e donaci la tua salvezza.

8 I am listening. What is God's message? Yahweh's message is peace for his people, for his faithful, ifonly they renounce their folly.
9 Ascolterò che cosa dice Dio, il Signore:
egli annunzia la pace
per il suo popolo, per i suoi fedeli,
per chi ritorna a lui con tutto il cuore.
9 His saving help is near for those who fear him, his glory wil dwel in our land.
10 La sua salvezza è vicina a chi lo teme
e la sua gloria abiterà la nostra terra.
10 Faithful Love and Loyalty join together, Saving Justice and Peace embrace.
11 Misericordia e verità s'incontreranno,
giustizia e pace si baceranno.
11 Loyalty wil spring up from the earth, and Justice wil lean down from heaven.
12 La verità germoglierà dalla terra
e la giustizia si affaccerà dal cielo.

12 Yahweh will himself give prosperity, and our soil wil yield its harvest.
13 Quando il Signore elargirà il suo bene,
la nostra terra darà il suo frutto.
13 Justice will walk before him, treading out a path.
14 Davanti a lui camminerà la giustizia
e sulla via dei suoi passi la salvezza.
