1 Il ventesimo quinto anno della nostra trasmigrazione, al principio dell'anno, a' dieci del mese, quattordici anni dopo la ruina della città, in quel medesimo giorno, la mano del Signore fu sopra di me, e menommi colà.	1 In the twenty-fifth year of our transmigration, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was struck, on this very day, the hand of the Lord was placed upon me, and he brought me to that place.
2 In una visione divina mi condusse nella terra d'Israele, e posommi sopra un monte molto elevato, sopra di cui era come la fabbrica di una città volta a mezzodì,	2 In the visions of God, he brought me into the land of Israel, and he released me on an exceedingly high mountain, on which there was something like the edifice of a city, verging toward the south.
3 E introdussemi colà dentro, ed ecco un uomo, che era a vedersi splendente come bronzo, e aveva in mano una corda fatta di lino, e nell'altra mano una canna da misurare, ed ei stavasi sulla porta.	3 And he led me into that place. And behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a linen rope in his hand, and a measuring reed in his hand. And he was standing at the gate.
4 E lo stesso uomo mi disse: Figliuolo dell'uomo, mira co' tuoi occhi, e ascolta co' tuoi orecchi, ed applica il cuor tuo a tutte le cose, che io ti farò vedere; perocché, affinchè ti fosser dimostre, tu qua se' stato condotto: e annunzia tutto quello, che vedi, alla casa d'Israele.	4 And the same man said to me: “Son of man, look with your eyes, and listen with your ears, and set your heart upon all that I will reveal to you. For you have been brought to this place, so that these things may be revealed to you. Announce all that you see to the house of Israel.”
5 Ed ecco al di fuori un muro tutt' all'intorno della casa, e l'uomo, avendo in mano una canna della misura di sei cubiti, e un palmo, misurò la larghezza dell'edifizio, che era di una canna, e l'altezza pure di una canna.	5 And behold, there was a wall outside of the house, encircling it all around, and in the man’s hand was a measuring reed of six cubits and a palm. And he measured the width of the edifice with one reed; likewise, the height with one reed.
6 E andò alla porta, che guardava all'oriente, e salì la sua scalinata, e misurò il liminare della porta di una canna in larghezza, viene a dire, ognuno de' liminari era largo una canna.	6 And he went to the gate which looked toward the east, and he ascended by its steps. And he measured the width of the threshold of the gate as one reed, that is, one threshold was one reed in width.
7 E ogni camera avea una canna di lunghezza, e una di larghezza, e tra una camera, e l'altra v'erano cinque cubiti.	7 And a chamber was one reed in length and one reed in width. And between the chambers, there were five cubits.
8 E il liminare della porta presso al vestibolo dentro alla porta era di una canna.	8 And the threshold of the gate, next to the inner vestibule of the gate, was one reed.
9 E misurò il vestibolo della porta, che era di otto cubiti, e la fronte di due cubiti: il vestibolo della porta era al di dentro.	9 And he measured the vestibule of the gate as eight cubits, and its front as two cubits. But the vestibule of the gate was inside.
10 Or alla porta di oriente erano tre camere da una parte; e tre dall'altra, e le tre camere avean la stessa misura, e la stessa misura aveano le fronti dall'una parte, e dall'altra.	10 Moreover, the chambers of the gate, toward the way of the east, were three from one side to the other. The three were of one measure, and the fronts were of one measure, on both sides.
11 Ed ei misurò la larghezza del liminare della porta, che era di dieci cubiti, e la lunghezza della porta di tredici cubiti.	11 And he measured the width of the threshold of the gate as ten cubits, and the length of the gate as thirteen cubits.
12 E lo sporto davanti alle camere era d'un cubito: un cubito facea tutta la sua misura dall'una, e dall'altra parte, e le camere di qua, e di là erano di sei cubiti.	12 And before the chambers, the border was one cubit. And on both sides, the border was one cubit. But the chambers were six cubits, from one side to the other.
13 E misurò la porta dal tetto di una camera fino al tetto dell'altra, di larghezza di venticinque cubiti: la porta dell'una (camera) era dirimpetto all'altra.	13 And he measured the gate, from the roof of one chamber to the roof of another, twenty-five cubits in width, from door to door.
14 E fece le facciate di sessanta cubiti, e alla facciata fece (corrispondente) l'atrio della porta tutt' all'intorno.	14 And he found the fronts to be sixty cubits. And at the front, there was a court for the gate on every side all around.
15 E dalla facciata davanti della porta fino alla facciata interiore dell'altra porta del vestibolo, cubiti cinquanta.	15 And before the face of the gate, which extended even to the face of the vestibule of the gate of the interior, there were fifty cubits.
16 E (fece) delle finestre obblique nelle camere, e nelle facciate, che eran dentro la porta d'ogni parte all'intorno: e similmente eranvi ancora nei vestiboli delle finestre al di dentro tutt' all'intorno, e davanti alle facciate (erano) palme scolpite.	16 And there were slanting windows in the chambers and at their fronts, which were within the gate on every side all around. And similarly, there were also windows in the vestibules all around the interior, and there were images of palm trees before the fronts.
17 E menommi all'atrio esteriore, e vidi le stanze, e il pavimento dell'atrio era lastricato di pietra: erano trenta stanze intorno al pavimento.	17 And he led me away to the outer court, and behold, there were storerooms and a layer of pavement stones throughout the court. Thirty storerooms encircled the pavement.
18 E il pavimento in faccia alle porte era più basso secondo la lunghezza delle porte.	18 And the pavement in front of the gates, along the length of the gates, was lower.
19 E misurò la larghezza della soglia della porta inferiore sino al principio dell'atrio interiore per di fuori, cento cubiti all'oriente, e (altrettanti) a settentrione.	19 And he measured the width, from the face of the lower gate to the front of the outer part of the inner court, to be one hundred cubits, to the east and to the north.
20 Misurò eziandio tanto la lunghezza, che la larghezza della porta dell'atrio esteriore, che guardava a settentrione.	20 Likewise, he measured the gate of the outer court, which looked to the way of the north, to be as much in length as in width.
21 E le sue camere tre da una, e tre dall'altra parte, e il suo frontispizio, e il suo vestibolo secondo la misura della prima porta, ella era cinquanta cubiti lunga, e larga venticinque cubiti.	21 And its chambers were three from one side to the other. And its front and its vestibule, in accord with the measure of the former gate, were fifty cubits in its length and twenty-five cubits in width.
22 E le sue finestre, e il vestibolo, e le sculture avean misure simili a quelle della prima porta, cinquanta cubiti di lunghezza, e venticinque di larghezza.	22 Now its windows, and the vestibule, and the engravings were in accord with the measure of the gate which looked to the east. And its ascent was by seven steps, and a vestibule was before it.
23 E le porte dell'atrio interiore eran dirimpetto alle porte (dell'atrio esteriore) a settentrione, e ad oriente, e dall'una porta all'altra misurò cento cubiti.	23 And the gate of the inner court was opposite the gate of the north, and that of the east. And he measured from gate to gate as one hundred cubits.
24 E menommi dalla parte di mezzodì, e vidi la porta, che guardava mezzodì, e misurò il suo frontispizio, e il suo vestibolo eguali in misura agli altri.	24 And he led me to the way of the south, and behold, there was a gate which looked toward the south. And he measured its front and its vestibule to be the same as the measures above.
25 E le sue finestre, e i vestiboli all'intorno eran come le altre finestre, cinquanta cubiti lunghe, larghe venticinque.	25 And its windows and the vestibule all around were like the other windows: fifty cubits in length and twenty-five cubits in width.
26 E ad essa (porta) si saliva per sette scalini, e dinanzi ad essa era il vestibolo, ed eranvi le palme scolpite, una da un lato, una dall'altro per davanti	26 And there were seven steps to ascend to it, and a vestibule before its doors. And there were engraved palm trees, one on each side, at its front.
27 E la porta dell'atrio interiore era a mezzodì, e misurò da una porta all'altra a mezzodì cento cubiti.	27 And there was a gate at the inner court, on the way to the south. And he measured from one gate to another, on the way to the south, to be one hundred cubits.
28 E mi condusse nell'atrio interiore alla porta di mezzodì, e misurò la porta, simile nella misura alle precedenti.	28 And he led me into the inner court, to the south gate. And he measured the gate to be in accord with the measures above.
29 La sua camera, il suo frontispizio, e il suo vestibolo, e le finestre, e il vestibolo all'intorno aveano le stesse misure, cinquanta cubiti di lunghezza, venticinque di larghezza.	29 Its chamber, and its front, and its vestibule had the same measures. And its windows and its vestibule all around were fifty cubits in length, and twenty-five cubits in width.
30 E il vestibolo, che girava all'intorno, era lungo venticinque cubiti, e largo cinque.	30 And the vestibule all around was twenty-five cubits in length, and five cubits in width.
31 E il vestibolo menava all'atrio esteriore; eranvi le palme davanti, e otto erano gli scalini per salire ad essa.	31 And its vestibule was toward the outer court, and its palm trees were at the front. And there were eight steps to ascend to it.
32 E fecemi entrare nello (stesso) atrio interiore per la parte orientale, e misurò la porta avente le misure di sopra.	32 And he led me into the inner court, along the way of the east. And he measured the gate to be in accord with the measures above.
33 Le sue camere, e il suo frontispizio, e il suo vestibolo, come sopra, e le finestre, e il vestibolo di essa all'intorno, cubiti cinquanta in lungo, venti cinque in largo.	33 Its chamber, and its front, and its vestibule were as above. And its windows and its vestibules all around were fifty cubits in length, and twenty-five cubits in width.
34 E il suo vestibolo guardava l'atrio esteriore: e sul suo frontispizio scolpite le palme di qua, e di là, e per otto gradini salivasi ad essa.	34 And it had a vestibule, that is, at the outer court. And the engraved palm trees at its front were on one side and the other. And its ascent was by eight steps.
35 E mi condusse alla porta, che guardava settentrione, e misurolla secondo le precedenti misure.	35 And he led me to the gate which looked toward the north. And he measured it to be in accord with the measures above.
36 Le sue camere, e il suo frontispizio, e il suo vestibolo, e le finestre all'intorno, cinquanta cubiti di lunghezza, venticinque di larghezza.	36 Its chamber, and its front, and its vestibule, and its windows all around were fifty cubits in length, and twenty-five cubits in width.
37 E il suo vestibolo guardava l'atrio esteriore, e le palme scolpite nel frontispizio di qua, e di là, e ad essa salivasi per otto gradini.	37 And its vestibule looked toward the outer court. And an engraving of palm trees at its front was on one side and the other. And its ascent was by eight steps.
38 E ognuna delle camere ai lati delle (grandi) porte avea una porta: ivi lavavano l'olocausto.	38 And at each one of the storerooms, there was a door at the front of the gates. There, they washed the holocaust.
39 E nel vestibolo della porta eran due mense dall'una parte, e due dall'altra, per immolare sopra di esse l'olocausto, e per il peccato, e per il delitto.	39 And at the vestibule of the gate, there were two tables on one side, and two tables on the other side, so that the holocaust, and the offering for sin, and the offering for transgression could be immolated upon them.
40 E dalla parte esteriore, che va all'ingresso della porta, che guarda settentrione, due mense, e dall'altro lato, davanti al vestibolo della porta, due mense.	40 And at the outer side, which ascends to the door of the gate that goes toward the north, there were two tables. And at the other side, before the vestibule of the gate, there were two tables.
41 Quattro mense da una parte, quattro mense dall'altra; ai lati della porta erano otto le mense, sulle quali faceransi le immolazioni.	41 Four tables were on one side, and four tables were on the other side; along the sides of the gate, there were eight tables, upon which they immolated.
42 E le quattro mense per l'olocausto eran fatte di pietre quadre lunghe un cubito, e mezzo, e larghe un cubito, e mezzo ed alte un cubito per mettervi sopra i vasi, che si usano nell'immolare l'olocausto, e la vittima.	42 Now the four tables for the holocausts were constructed of square stones: one and a half cubit in length, and one and a half cubits in width, and one cubit in height. Upon these, they placed the vessels, in which the holocaust and the victim were immolated.
43 Elle aveano tutto all'intorno una cornice, che si piegava verso la parte interiore, e sopra le mense poneansi le carni dell'obblazioni.	43 And their edges were one palm in width, turned inward all around. And the flesh of the oblation was on the tables.
44 E fuori della porta interiore eran le camere dei cantori nell'atrio interiore, che era allato alla porta, che guarda settentrione. La faccia loro era volta verso mezzodì. Una ve n'era allato alla porta orientale, la quale guardava settentrione.	44 And outside the interior gate, there were storerooms for the cantors, in the inner court, which was beside the gate that looks toward the north. And their face was opposite the way to the south; one was beside the east gate, which looked toward the way of the north.
45 E quegli disse a me: Questa camera, che guarda mezzodì, sarà pei sacerdoti, che vegliano a guardia del tempio.	45 And he said to me: “This is the storeroom that looks toward the south; it shall be for the priests who keep watch for the protection of the temple.
46 La camera poi, che guarda settentrione, sarà pei sacerdoti, che vegliano nel servigio dell'altare. Questi sono i figliuoli di Sadoc, i quali sono posteri di Levi, e si appressano al Signore per servire a lui.	46 Moreover, the storeroom that looks toward the north will be for the priests who keep watch over the ministry of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, those among the sons of Levi who may draw near to the Lord, so that they may minister to him.”
47 Ed ei misurò l'atrio, di lunghezza cento cubiti, e di larghezza cento cubiti in quadro, e l'altare, che era dinanzi alla facciata del tempio.	47 And he measured the court to be one hundred cubits in length, and one hundred cubits in width, with four equal sides. And the altar was before the face of the temple.
48 E mi introdusse nel vestibolo del tempio, e misurò il vestibolo, che avea cinque cubiti da una parte, e cinque dall'altra, e la larghezza delle porte tre cubiti da un lato, e tre dall'altro.	48 And he led me into the vestibule of the temple. And he measured the vestibule to be five cubits on one side, and five cubits on the other side. And the width of the gate was three cubits on one side, and three cubits on the other side.
49 E la lunghezza del vestibolo di venti cubiti, e la larghezza di undici cubiti, e vi si montava per otto scalini. E la facciata avea due colonne, una da una parte, una dall'altra.	49 Now the length of the vestibule was twenty cubits, and the width was eleven cubits, and there were eight steps to ascend to it. And there were pillars at the front, one on this side and another on that side.
